We came here tonight specifically to play pool after calling ahead to confirm. On the phone, we were told “everyone only gets an hour” and that our name would be added to the list. Sounded fair enough, so we made plans and went.
When we arrived, we double-checked again and were told the current players had just started, so we’d be up in about an hour. No problem—we ordered drinks and waited patiently. After a full hour, we went back to ask because the same group was starting another game.
That’s when the experience turned ugly. The bartender (the same woman who was checking IDs at the door earlier) was shockingly rude, negative, and flat-out aggressive in her tone. Instead of honoring what we were told twice, she cut us off and snapped, “Oh no, I know them, so they can play all night if they want.”
Insane
We wasted our entire night waiting and spending money at the bar, only to be dismissed by a hostile, unprofessional employee
So basically: the “rules” they tell customers don’t apply if you’re friends with the staff. We wasted our night waiting, spending money at the bar under the assumption we’d get to play, only to be brushed off rudely. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and honestly just bad business. If you’re looking for a nice bar and enjoy a game of pool, don’t waste your time here.

This is a brand new Mr. Furley’s location! Very cool hangout spot with outdoor patio, happy hour every night, darts and pool table. The drinks and food are some of the cheapest you’ll find, and they’re great! Parking is super easy as the bar is located right next to the Beverly Center parking structure.

Bartender wouldn’t even acknowledge us although we were the only ones at the bar top. Went it yesterday around 5:30 and we received no acknowledgement throughout our whole time there. We sat at the bar and the female bartender with tattoos helped everyone around us and not once did she greet us or attempted to take our order. It wasn’t busy to be so blatantly ignored. After 15 minutes of waiting to get her attention we decided to leave. Horrible experience. If I could give zero stars I would. Take your money elsewhere.

I love this place! I’ve been coming here on and off for 4 years. I have a date here in 2020 with my now fiancée, so it’s one of our favorite local bars to go to. Drinks are very fairly priced for LA (between $8-12) and the food is great! Highly recommend the Buffalo Wings!!! Parking was easy and it’s free after 6pm.
