First time eating here, the Catfish was absolutely delicious. My Husband had the fried Shrimp but didn’t care for the batter on his. Super good sweet Tea! This is a fairly new family owned business so I say definitely give them a try!

The fish and baked beans were good, the fries were soggy, the coleslaw was a wet, soggy mess, and it was sweet. The portions were very sparse for the price ($30 for two plates) and the hush puppies were a weird donut-like consistency. The shrimp were few and far between. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, especially on black businesses but these people rubbed me the wrong way. Playing into anti-black respectability politics via anti-black dress codes is something that is always going to get a reaction from me. I’m trying to support black owned businesses but when they treat you worse than other folks, it becomes hard. If I am a paying customer, you should be happy for the business instead of trying to dictate what a person is wearing, especially if they are dressed decently. If you are catering to non-black people, just say that instead of singling out young black males with your dress code and regulations. My partner wasn’t even sagging his clothes, he had on work pants and a work shirt and was told to pull up his pants. I was astounded. Next time you want to tell someone to pull up their pants, make sure you comb your hair first.

This place is AMAZING the fish is awesome – the greens are better than any I ever tasted!!! The place is clean and super cute place/ the family that owns it I met them and they are so nice and the workers are great in service and friendly!!! It’s locally owned and operated- and I pray they succeed because I’m now obsessed with their food!!!

We were hoping to find a good place to eat and boy we were not disappointed. Excellent food..the baked beans were out of this world..the fish and shrimp delicious, as well as the onion rings. Very nice portion size. The place was so clean and the atmosphere was so nice. The owners and workers very courteous. Highly recommend it to everyone. We will return when back in the area!! Great! Clean, average prices compared to others. Love they want it to be a respectable place and not a fast food looking place. It’s obvious they put a lot of work in this restaurant for Laurel, skin color doesn’t matter there geeez. If they tell u to pull your pants up quit being defensive. Food is great maybe a kick could be in the coating of catfish.

Had lunch there today with a friend. The food was excellent! The fish fillets were perfectly cooked. The coleslaw was very good and the I really enjoyed the hush puppies. The staff was very friendly and the service was outstanding. The place was as neat & clean as I’ve ever seen. We’ll be back.

Hunny im so full, and i now i don’t want to go in for work. That’s how much, I really loved the great customer service, The food was all that plus more, so delicious. And do i need to mention, the street view while sitting in the trolley area. Like im definitely coming back! REAL REAL SOON!
