I am am empanada fanatic and I was so excited to see this on my radar. These empanadas were phenomenal. I got beef and cheese and chick, with broccoli and cheese and the salad with grilled chicken and everything was soooooo good. Very authentic and delicious and the staff was super nice. A must have!

Honestly pretty underwhelming experience. The Cuban sandwich was ok, lacked flavor and the bread was kinda stale. The empanadas were decent but again nothing really worth having again, beef and cheese, buffalo chicken, and spinach artichoke, all were kinda bland, only finished the beef and cheese.
Edit: appreciate a business responding. I came in at 12:10pm, maybe because it was end of the day, but the bread was FOR SURE stale, and the cheese wasn’t even melted on the Cuban so the bread definitely wasn’t burnt, maybe I’ll try it again closer to opening sometime

I do not normally take the time to write reviews but this Mr. Empanada location was the best. The food was delicious and the owner was the sweetest lady. She was very friendly and you could tell she and her staff took pride in their customer’s experience.

Hands down best experience with Lisa, the owner. We are here from Atlanta (but I was born here in Tampa) and Mr Empanada is my favorite! They closed early for New Years Eve and when I called to see if any locations were open she said where to go and she was frying me some because she wanted me to have them despite her stores being closed! Wow! What amazing customer service. I’ve been eating Mr Empanada my whole life and I hope everyone joins in to support this delicious business with hands down incredible customer service. Beef and cheese – forever my favorite. Thanks Lisa!! You made our day.

First and foremost the empanadas here are freaking amazing! I had the deviled crab, the beef and cheese, and the buffalo chicken wing empanadas! Wonderful! The service was great… the counter person Tripp, walked me through what are the best ones to order. A Ma and Pa shop kind of feel, with a wonderful product! Highly recommend these guys
