Met the family here for breakfast. Everyone loved it. I had the chile rellano breakfast. The rellanos were great as was the green chile. It did not come with tortillas which is normally standard for a chile rellano breakfast. It was awesome though. Exactly what I wanted. The green chile is not super spicy but does have a sort of peppery spiciness that had many people coughing/sneezing.
Our table ordered a wide variety of food. The breakfast burrito, chilaquiles, breakfast quesadilla, etc. It was all great.
The service was great as well. Everyone was polite and the food came out pretty quick. I will definitely be back. This is a great breakfast spot.

The service was great, the waitress was so friendly and the food came out quickly. I had the Mr. Egg Skillet with french toast and I really enjoyed it. Fresh, hot coffee kept being refilled. My belly is full and I’m happy.

Been in Colorado a week at Estes park accidentally found this place while waiting on our flight at Denver airport. This was the best food from any restaurant that we have eaten at since we been here. The service was very good the food was fresh and hot. The breakfast quesadillas are super yummy. The sauce that comes with them is amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Not only was the taste of the food was good, but the quantity of food for the price that you pay is phenomenal. I was very satisfied by the time I left the restaurant. I even have seconds to take to work tomorrow. Next time I would like to try one of their lunch entrees because the pics looked amazing on the menu.

This came as a highly recommended place by a local and as out of towner’s we gave it a shot.
We were immediately greeted and seated upon entry. Staff was so extremely friendly right off the bat.
We ordered the breakfast burrito supreme and chicken fried steak and eggs. Man oh man was this food delicious.
The green chili on the burrito was bomb! Bursting with flavor and a wonderful amount of spice. Nicely filled with plenty of meat and extremely filling. I couldn’t finish the entire burrito but gave it a good shot.
The chicken fried steak was nicely seasoned, eggs wonderfully cooked and the gravy tasted amazing.
So glad we stopped in for this meal. Next time we are in Denver, we know what’s for breakfast!

I absolutely love Mr. Egg! We were introduced to this great place by a family member maybe 6 months ago. The first month we probably went there three times a week. We took friends, kids, ultimately we just looked for any excuse to go eat at Mr. Egg! We have since settled down a bit and maybe go once a week. It’s always busy, and if you have to put your name down on a list don’t despair it’s worth the wait. We’ve only had breakfast items so can’t speak to the rest of the menu. Portions are generous and the omelets are flavorful and packed with yummy. The wait staff are always kind and friendly and patient even though they’re always busy. I’ve noticed that there tends to be a lot of “regulars”, which is a good sign. The atmosphere is definitely what I would call old school diner. Nothing fancy but it’s always clean and comfortable. The only drawback is it tends to be a little loud. There’s nothing that can be done about that, it’s just a bit of an issue for those of us who are kind of hard of hearing haha!

This is one of my husband’s favorite breakfast places but this was my first time. The portions were huge and food was good. I made the mistake of ordering a salad and something with sauerkraut, (a Ruben) at 9 in the morning so I took most of mine home but it was good. my husband got some sort of southwestern Skillet that was huge. An oversized heaping plate full of all the breakfast goodies he likes. It even came with a side of pancakes. Staff was friendly and efficient. You could tell the patrons were regulars and they were all in a wonderful mood.

I’ve had the chance to order from the breakfast menu and the gyro omelette is amazing I’ve been back to get it three times. It is large and has a ton of feta in It. You get a choice of side and I love the biscuits and gravy.

I stopped at Mr. Egg on my way to Rocky Mountain National Park after driving most of the night from St. Louis, and wow—what a perfect find. The prices were amazing, the portions were huge, and the food was incredible. I ordered the Mr. Egg omelet, and even though I usually clean my plate (especially before or after a big hike), I could barely finish 75%—that’s how generous the serving was.
The whole place has that true family-owned diner feel. The staff worked together seamlessly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was fantastic. If I were local, I’d absolutely be a regular here. Great food, great value, great people—everything you could want in a classic diner stop.

Enormous amounts of food. Service is fantastic, and the restaurant is always super packed. Be prepared to wait. It’s definitely worth the wait. They can accommodate large groups, but it’s better to call ahead. The waitstaff is quick and works as a team. Cherrie and company always go out of their way to make sure it’s an enjoyable experience.
