After working thru lunch…..I was so excited to see a food truck pull up in my town. This isn’t just any food truck y’all…..babeeeeee they have some old fashion flavors that leave you wanting more!!! Their meats, sides & desserts take you back to momma or grandma cooking in the kitchen. . EVERYTHING I ORDERED WAS GOOD!!!! Shrimp, sweet potato casserole, mac n’ cheese & the banana pudding…..it was all sooooo yummy!!! The quality of the food was amazing, everything was hot and seasoned well. When you see them in your city…..pull up….no regrets over here!!! . I can’t wait til y’all return to Gibsonville! Thank you, thank you & thank you!

This was my 1st time at Mr. Don’s 4-26-2025. What can I say this was just what I needed a great time with great food. The atmosphere was great. The food was amazing. The workers were nice and very attentive. I went on a night Mr. Kees and his band was playing the live music and mic night was good. I would definitely recommend trying their food and going to Mr. Don’s on Roxboro Rd. I was told the food truck can be in different locations. See y’all next time.

My husband and I attended the grand opening and thoroughly enjoyed all the food and music. We ordered every entree and the meat was seasoned and prepared to perfection. The sides were also unbelievably delicious. The potato salad tasted as good as my husband’s. Our suggestion is to ordered the fried fish and sit down at eat them hot and add hot sauce that is provided then order the chicken and ribs to go. Please stop by and show Don and his entourage that you will support an excellent quality but delicious soul food tradition in our local community.

Stopped in for the first time at Mr. Don’s Famous Chicken & Ribs and enjoyed the 1/2 chicken with Mac n cheese and collard greens and EVERYTHING was so flavorful! It’s so good that I started to order a second plate to go! Very welcoming environment with down to earth owners that ensure their customers are pleased. Check em out! You won’t be disappointed!

The truck came to my job. I ordered a Rib Sandwich. While I was ordering, I was told by the gentleman taking my order that I would get 2 sides, I asked for Yams and Collards. Both show up on my receipt as comes with the sandwich. I paid $26 for that and a can of Pepsi. What I got was, 2 bone-in ribs thrown onto to slices of white bread and eventually my soda. When I asked about the sides, the guy at the counter said, “I made a mistake, it doesn’t come with a side”. No apology or anything. VERY disappointing.

I loved the food so much. The customer service was stupendous. My plate had ribs, chicken, macaroni and turnips. The sides was flavored to perfection. The chicken and ribs was juicy and tender. My favorite thing of all was the sauce! It’s so good. After all that food My husband and I split a banana pudding. A perfect dessert after we ate.

Their collard greens are on point and their ribs are absolutely amazing. The ribs fall right off the bone and are absolutely excellent. Coming from a person who has been all over the south, I assure you that this is high praise. I normally would post a pic but I devoured it too fast. Highly recommend, go check it out!
