Passing by for quick bit and meet the original owner Me. Dave and his wife! Wonderful people, suggest a few items to try. They are in their 90’s but still stop by weekly. I will be sure to stop by next time when I am in the area. The chicken was wonderful! If you are really hungry the tenderloin will fill you up.

Random first experience. Friendly competent staff who know their jobs well and work as team. Ordered a double cheese burger and of course the breaded tenderloin. Both adequate portion sizes crispy properly fried fries. The place was packed and that is always a good sign. Where everyone knows everyone and if you dont the other patrons are smiling friendly and strike up random convos. Will be back!

Went here for the first time ever tonight and I honestly was blown away by the food. Got the broasted chicken, and it honestly was some of the best food I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy and juicy. The fries were fresh, and the slaw was refreshing! Also very delicious friend mushrooms as well! Will definitely be adding this to one of my regular places! And excellent service!

Went there on a visit to Manchester University 1/30/2026 my son will be a freshman there in the fall and myself and family will make visits to Mr Dave’s while he in school. The food is excellent and the breaded pork sandwich is better than advertised!!!!

Came here because I heard they had great breaded tenderloins. I was disappointed. Maybe I’ve just had really good tenderloins in the past because this one was about as average as it gets. It was flavorless. Nothing about it stood out. The burger and onion rings were decent but I wouldn’t come here expecting anything other than your average greasy diner with decent prices.

First time ever stopping in. Definitely was not disappointed. Decided to try one of their tenderloins that they’re supposed to be famous for. It was humongous and delicious. Had those old school crinkle cut fries. Has indoor and outdoor seating and to go. If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth a stop.

Tenderloin was huge and absolutely delicious. Chicken strips were also very good. Fries were Ok. They are crinkle cut and weren’t very crispy so not my favorite. Ice cream was delicious. The hot fudge sundae and Strawberry sundae were both very good. The hot fudge is very good.
It only has 7 booths, 1 table that seats 6 and 1 table that seats 4. So not alot of seating and the chairs at the tables are a little rickety but they are cute :).
Overall a great place to stop and eat. We will definitely stop again when in this area.

King of the breaded tenderloin and fried chicken. Other food great too. Worth the drive. Small place, so get a seat when you first come in.

I ordered a BLT for the first time… and the last. It had 2.5 slices of bacon for 5.69. Like, I could barely find the bacon amongst the pile of lettuce and underripe tomato slices.
A side of 3 slices of bacon is $2, so I guess I’ll just order that if I decide to try this place again.
