Crawfish are a nice size, very juicy, VERY flavorful, spice level is definitely on point. As I was enjoying my experience, it put me in mind of the flavor I get from LTK Seafood, which is a GOOD thing.HOWEVER, I am not feeling that pop of lemon flavor coming through on my palate, it’s tolerable but absolutely not my preference, which is the reason for the 4 stars. I also purchased a smoke sausage link that was “aight” not too fond of the texture/tenderness. Last but not least, the neckbone was absolutely perfect, the flavor was spot on, and very meaty.
9/10 I’ll be sliding through soon … hopefully y’all get rid of the lemon juice or lemon extract flavoring ,whatever it is…

I can’t believe this spot’s been here for years and I’m just now discovering it. Better late than never, because this might be my new go to crawfish spot in the BR. Every bite was packed with flavor, easy peel, and exactly how Louisiana crawfish should be.

After having boiled crawfish from another vendor a few times, I had serious doubts that I would find a company in Baton Rouge that served good boiled crawfish. I’m happy to say that is no longer the case.
The flavor profile is a little different than what I have had previously but the boiled crawfish that I got from this vendor was delicious!
I want to say they add a little more lemon to the water but it wasn’t a bad flavor just different.
The crawfish were a good size, fresh, and they were spicy but not too spicy.
The couple that waited on us were very nice. The store appeared to be very clean and well organized.
They also serve shrimp as well as sides; corn, potatoes, sausage links, boudin, and other sides. I was interested in the crawfish only so I didn’t get any sides.
I’m looking forward to getting another order in the very near future.

I always have a great experience at Mr. Crawfish. The crawfish are consistently good, perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and I’ve never had a bad batch. The place is always clean, which is something I really appreciate when it comes to FOOD. The owners are always super friendly and welcoming every time I come in. You can tell they care about their customers and the quality of their food. Definitely one of my go-to spots for crawfish in Baton Rouge!

Mr. Crawfish had some of the best crawfish!! It was seasoned well, juicy, and the crawfish were sized very well for this early in the season. The corn, potatoes, and sausage were also good!! There was also zero wait, and the crawfish is kept HOT. We will be back!!

Truly great crawfish. Top tier in the city. The potatoes are fantastic, they cut them in quarters so they absorb the boil flavor.
There is an extra kick of lemon to the crawfish. Relatively low on the spice scale but the flavor is all there. The meat is perfectly cooked and always juicy.
There are some staples you can add in like egg, sausage, and then turkey necks, neck bones, boudin, etc. All solid.

Please bear with me. I’m so full. I can barely do this review. When you walk in it’s almost sterile clean. A few decorations on the wall, a couple chairs, a large counter and the menu and his prices are on the wall behind the counter. One of the owners was working behind the counter. She was so nice. She showed me the size of the crawfish before I bought them and after seeing how big they were, I increased the amount that I wanted I can normally eat 5 to 6 pounds of crawfish in one sitting I was only able to eat about half of the 6 pounds that I got. And that’s not with me eating the huge claws. I broke those off and have saved them for another day. The flavor of the crawfish is Awesome. You can taste lemon flavor, celery, the different spices, a hint of orange. they are spicy, but not overpowering. I, easily, live by 6 crawfish spots, this will be my new go to. It is worth the slightly longer drive.
