The staff was very friendly here. He knew it was our first time there and went out of his way to make sure we understood the menu and got what we wanted.
The house sauce had very good flavor. And everything came out good. The crab and seafood definitely not the most fresh but not too bad for a small place in the middle of Illinois.

This is now my son’s favorite restaurant (which makes my wallet cringe) but it is very good, so I do not blame him. We’ve been twice now, and have gotten crab both times. I had a side of sausage and that was good, too. I didn’t realize the sausage came sauced, but I just pushed the sauce off and gobbled it up. We are used to the low country boils from the southeast coast of the country so having a thick sauced “boil” was new for us. Though different, it was still very good. I have not tried all of the flavors, but had the Cajun last time and I even sopped up the extra with my fries, it was so good. The personnel have been very friendly from what we have experienced. Going forward, this is a regular stop whenever we can spring for market value seafood.

Our first time here. The menu has many dishes that are not found in the typical Chinese restaurant. Only moderately spicy for Szechuan cuisine. The soups were delicious, but beware, they are very large. I’d say it’s not as good overall as Golden Harbor, but good enough and (as I said) a bit different. Service was good. Prices are OK ($19 each, with tip). We’ll come back.

Terrible place to eat not only for the bad taste but for the disgusting services. We ordered iron plate tofu and the tofu was overcooked. They stock on the iron plate and are completely not suitable for human beings to eat. They served food extremely slow and you get to take the risk of being completely forgotten to be served. We waited our food for over an hour and they told us that they forgot about our orders.
Do not go there especially during the graduation period. They do not even have the basic ability of being a normal Chinese food restaurant.

I went there with some friends for lunch. The human beef was to be spicy but it was not. It was also too salty and had too much oil. We were given a nice little cubby hole table to seat the six of us. That was a kind gesture.
The place appeared clean and well maintained.
I would be willing to eat there again if those who accompany me want to eat here, however, I probably will not choose to go there by myself.

Highly recommend this place! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the garlic butter shrimp boil and was extremely satisfied. The service was excellent. The owner personally waited on us and made our very large party feel important. We were throwing a birthday party for a family member and we couldn’t have left happier. Thank you for a great night!

The food is good and the hot pot is exceptional, although sometimes their is issues with the new staffing, but the manager and his wife is always there and they are really good with taking care of the orders. Especially now that they have a hot pot menu in English and with pictures, twice cook pork is really good here, I definitely say this is the best Hot Pot place in town, very comparable to Little Sheep hotpot in chicago. We usually get the dual hot pot with the fatty beef and lamb special, it definitely hit the spot. Expect to be in food coma if your going all out on the hotpot.

We’re not open at the correct time. Got sat at a table that was dirty asked to be moved so they loved us to another table and it was dirty as well. Tried a third table and my chair had something spilled on it. Building was disgusting. If the dining area is that dirty as someone who has worked in the food service industry for more than 26 years it terrifies me as to how dirty the kitchen is if the dining area is that unclean. Would never recommend anyone to go there!

The food is really good and I enjoyed the atmosphere thoroughly. The wait staff is borderline incompetent though. I ate my entire order and played two games of tic tac toe before our waiter told us they had taken my wives order to another table. She waited at least 40 minutes from the time I got my food. I would have given the place a lower rating but it’s not the cooks fault the waiter is an asshat. I hope the other crab boil places opening up focus on customer service.
