Definitely one of the best meal I had in my UK trip. You’ll able to get almost all kinds of Chinese staple dishes here. You can taste Chef Tom dedicated wok-work as well as tip-top services from Michael and the team. Highly recommended for those who would like to have a SEA Chinese feast.

I ate here last night with my two children and it was amazing. The food was delicious, fresh, came out quickly, and looked fantastic. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was lovely and clean. It was my 8-year-old’s birthday and the staff made him feel so special. They brought out his cake with a sparkling candle and happy birthday music playing. He loved it!

Great example of how a Chinese restaurant should look and be run. The service was impeccable and the place was spotless, warm and welcoming.
As for the food, there’s nothing inspired or new on the menu, but everything was cooked to a high standard. All the dishes light and flavoursome, no over sticky sweet sauces and greasy textures as can be found is some lesser restaurants.
Definitely one of the best in the area and would recommend whole heartedly……. 4.5*

I’ve to Mr Chong in Disley twice and booked both times — good idea as it was full on both occasions. The setting is lovely and authentic with a great vibe. Staff were excellent, and the food is hands down the best Chinese/Cantonese I’ve had in the UK!

After ordering £90 worth of food to my door, I can honestly say it was absolutely disgusting.
My mum and dad came around For a Saturday night treat. Apart from missing items, I seriously have never had Chinese food like it. Extremely dry Even the boiled rice was hard on the edges and cold.
The lovely daughter of the owner of the restaurant came to my property to replace the items that were missing, I showed her the food at the door and she took pictures and said it shouldn’t be like this.
She tried to call her dad and passed the phone over to me which I’m presuming this is Mr. Chung (Michael) As when I called up and made my complaint, he stated he would give me £20 back When the food was delivered.
No refund was issued, However, she did try to call him and pass the phone over to me To the response I got ‘ Yes, what do you want?’ I pass the phone straight back As I don’t need to speak to any business owner like this.
Absolutely appalling service. No attempt to try and call me Or apologise.
I really would not recommend this place!

Brought here on a Saturday evening while staying with friends who live locally. Michael and his team were really friendly from the outset and, despite the restaurant being really busy, the service was very efficient and attentive. Nice decor and a really nice atmosphere.
All four of us chose different options and we all thoroughly enjoyed what we had. I haven’t been to a Chinese restaurant for years but this place far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

First visit tonight for my husbands birthday. We were so impressed. The welcome, and service was impeccable and the food amazing. Good job we drove over an hour to visit else I’d be dining here all the time it was that good. We will be back though. Couldn’t recommend any more highly.

Enjoyed a brilliant meal at Mr Chong’s with the new Malaysian specials which were the Char Kway Teow and Nasi Lemak. We also loved the Tom Yum soup. Along with two versions of the scallops. Very attentive and calm atmosphere. Thank you Alice, Joseph and Michael for your great service. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

Best Chinese I’ve had in a very very long time (if not ever). I really wish this was my local. So tasty, fresh and good quality. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Next time I’m in New Mills area I will be rushing back!
