The spicy popcorn chicken was genuinely some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. So juicy on the inside with the perfect amount of salt and spice.
Probably one of the most underrated spots in the area!
While searching for coffee and desserts at Fair Oaks Mall, we came across this hidden gem. We sampled their taro mochi donut, which was not overly chewy and had a texture similar to fried donuts, topped with sweet taro icing. Their coffee beverages, including a cafe latte, surpassed our expectations and were quite good. At the same time, the Matcha Mochaccino Frappe was delightful, with a balanced blend of matcha and icy mocha flavors.
I got the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken Combo, and the Cream Cheese Oreo mochi donut, and both were excellent! The popcorn chicken was perfectly seasoned, and was so tender and juicy. I got the spicy seasoning, which was just hot enough to enhance the flavor but wasn’t overpowering. The combo was hot and crispy, so definitely freshly cooked!
The mochi donut was also perfect. It was chewy and sweet (but not too sweet), and the oreo topping was very yummy! I will definitely stop here every time I come to Fair Oaks!
1. Honeydew Boba tea – it tastes similar to Pekoe boba tea if anyone tried that. It’s decent
2. Popcorn chicken – very good, juicy on the inside
3. Macarons – the filling inside reminds me of Korean cake which is good and flavorful, somewhat hard exterior
4. Dumplings and pancake hotdogs – good basic fried foods overall
I’d come back to try their other boba teas and their corndogs/fries
The owners were super kind and made us feel so welcomed. This was the perfect spot to rest at the mall and satiate my sweet and savory cravings!
