Mr Chen’s for the Win! Excellent service and excellent food. The portions were incredibly generous. Highly recommend. Didn’t know free white rice would come with our order, so be prepared if you also are ordering fried rice. We had jasmine green tea, pork and vegetable dumplings, sautéed green beans, chicken fried rice and Mongolian beef. Everything was delicious.

This is the best Chinese restaurant we have had so far in Mississippi. I ordered the duck buns and a boba tea. My husband, sister and I love to stop in from time to time while shopping at the Oriental market. Really nice, clean place and the staff is very polite and helpful.

1st time here so decided on the lunch special. Can’t go wrong with shrimp fried rice. Wow this is more than a lunch portion and it’s the brown rice I’ve been looking for. I also ordered egg rolls but ate them before and crab rangoons. Everything so delicious can’t believe I’ve waited this long to try them out. Will be my go to for carry out.

I was so glad we came across Mr Chen’s in Jackson, MS. When we were in Arkansas, we went to a Mr Chen’s. Don’t know if they are related or not. It did not disappoint. Food is delicious and flavorful. Love their wonton soup. Wish I took a picture. We had devoured it. The general tso chicken was so good. My kids love the steamed dumplings. Had to get them bubble tea which they enjoyed after a great meal. Definitely worth coming to this restaurant.

We have been here a few times recently and the the cuisine is consistently very good. They have dishes I have not seen elsewhere such as crazy chicken, beef tenderloin with black pepper sauce, and house garlic pork which is fantastic! There is also a market there with a good selection of vegetables, canned/bottled items and fresh seafood. Well worth the stop! We live 200 miles away, but every time we are in town we go to Mr. Chens.

So, I have been to Mr. Chen’s before, but never really tried out their restaurant until recently. I’m not really sure about the “authenticity” of whether or not the food is truly Chinese or not, but I’ll state that this is a definite upgrade compared to Panda Express…- or something like that.
Again, I like to order an appetizer before my entree to explore all my options along with the menu itself. And, in my opinion, I enjoyed the experience and the food. The dumplings were really juicy and I ordered the stir fried rice cake, something unique to try. It’s pretty delicious, so I give props. Then they also have various boba items to try, and I enjoyed it too. Perhaps I’m simply biased, I’m unsure, but I think it’s pretty authentic and tasty to me!
