It’s not a welcoming sit in type of restaurant, but I think I was really disappointed in the food. They gave you a lot of overcooked meat minimum vegetables. The meat was so hard and chewy, but it was the aftertaste that made me feel like I really wasted my money. I even picked up my order early and it’s still cold for some reason. I can tell that it was cooked in old grease . I can tell they probably use this grease from the beginning of the day until it’s time for them to close. The rice looks good and I wish I could actually taste it but the after taste from the grease is destroying my taste buds. And I don’t smoke cigarettes just in case you’re wondering if that’s why the taste is different. I used to really love this restaurant and I wish they put as much love into the food as they do into the prices. it just taste like they don’t care anymore. And top this off this isn’t even what I ordered. But what I did, it was a family sized orange chicken with only three pieces of broccoli in it. I hate to say this, but this will be my last time eating here

I actually really like this place for Chinese food. I’ve never had a bad experience here and the food really does always taste fresh. My go to is the cashew chicken with lo mein. At $10 for the dinner, it really is good value for the money and you’ll be able to eat it for 2 days.

Food came out fast, which was a big plus. The flavors were just okay, nothing bad but nothing that really stood out either. Good for a quick, convenient meal, but not especially memorable taste-wise.

The food was delicious but sadly they got our order wrong. My family asked for chow mein and we got a container of cabbage-based vegetables. It still tastes great though. I recommend getting the sesame chicken, it’s delicious. The egg drop soup was really good too!

Very disappointing. Food looked really good but was tasteless. The only good thing was the egg drop soup . The won ton soup came in a brown watered down broth with undercooked noodles. The egg rolls were just cabbage with no meat or seasoning. All other stuff was flavorless. For the amount of money we spent it should have been great! I gave them 2 stars cuz of the egg drop soup and because it was cleaner than some of the other places we have tried.

Mr. Chen is our family favorite in Pensacola/Bellview as a go to for excellent Asian-American/Chinese food! A family owned and operated restaurant with high standards of service, including the food always served hot and delicious, fresh ingredients, and they have the preparation time down to a science. You never have to wait too long if you walk in and the time they give for pick up is always correct. Some of our favorite dishes include the different Lo Meins, Moo Shu Vegetables, General Tso’s Chicken (chefs specialities), fried dumplings, Kung Po Chicken, and Sliced Beef in Chinese Tea Sauce (chefs specialties). Great local restaurant to support. Easy five stars!

Fast, friendly, good price and food. Shrimp fried rice was very good. The steamed dumplings, however had way too much dough. If you cut away 1/2 the dough the flavor was pretty good.

Served Hot, the tasty, ample portions were savory and for the price, the exceptional dinner selection was filling and flavored to perfection. This location is my new favorite place to get green pepper steak and onions. The inside of the business was clean, fully stocked of various drink choices you could choose from. The order didn’t take long and the knowledgeable front of the house staff was friendly, efficient, and extremely professional. I will be returning for more delicious green pepper steak with onions. Thank you for making my mid-day meal an excellent memorable experience. Be well.

I went 2 nights in a row. Hardworking family with a nice restaurant. Clean restaurant. Food was excellent and plentiful! I had honey chicken day 1 then shrimp fried rice day 2. If you are a tourist (or local) definitely give them a try.

I hate giving them a bad review because the lady was so nice.
BUT the General Tso was old, dry, and tough chicken and virtually tasteless. And was that yellow rice, or fried rice? I don’t know.
I was so hoping I had a good local American-style Chinese restaurant.
For the brave, I I clouded and updated menu.
