I had not been here for about 3 months because I moved from the area and decided to go tonight. Ordered combo rice, chkn fing, crab Rangoon, fried shrimp. The chicken was so doughy and pasty inside, I was dining in so went to front to quietly tell the cashier while asking for napkins because they weren’t on table either. She came over with a plastic bag and said put them in here I’ll go tell him. Off to the kitchen she went. About 5 minutes later she comes back with some rock hard chewy stuff. Just gross. Couldn’t tell the chicken from the shrimp. I was just over it at this point and ate my rice and two rangoons and left with my 2 friends. Waste of $20 and I will not be back. This place use to be good. Once outside the girl who waited on me said they need help in the kitchen there is only one cook. I said yeah well there should be none cuz he should be fired. And left still hungry bottom photo is chicken on right doughy and on left chewy over fried one he threw back in grease. Same ones

First time at Mr. Chen in Fall River and the food is worth the hype. I stopped in because of their social media account and I’m happy I did. The service is wonderful, accurate, and quick. The food is sooooo great. Please give this local business a try. They deserve it. You deserve it as well. Great food! Seriously!

A friend and I were in the area, so we stopped in for lunch and bubble tea. Everything was good. My friend was impressed with the Lego display.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a long time and it’s usually really good, which is why today was so disappointing. The rice tasted old, was soggy, and looked like it was made almost entirely of soy sauce. The chicken wings were also very dry and overcooked.
I’m hoping this was just an off day, because this place used to be one of my favorites. I really hope they can get back to the quality they had before.

We got take out from Mr. Chen’s last week and it was excellent! There were 3 of us eating and none of us had tried it before. We decided to get a bunch of different things and all share. We ordered General Tao’s Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Schwan Chicken, Crab Rangoons, Pan Fried Dumplings and Lo Mein. My daughter’s boyfriend picked it up. He said there were a bunch of Lego displays in the restaurant, which we thought was really cool. Service was good and the order was ready on time. When we got it home and opened, it was very fresh and hot, despite being freezing outside. Everything was absolutely delicious! We all enjoyed it and kept going back for more throughout the night. I was very happy to have leftovers the next day too. I can’t wait to order again. Thanks for living up to the hype and also for all of the good things that you do for the local community, Mr. Chen!

Amazing food, the owner is amazing and friendly!! We were back in the area for a funeral, ordered late one night after not eating all day and ended up becoming friends with Dom and had the best service and food!!! Ended up going again before we left to make the Long drive home. (We live in Indiana since 1993). Not only did he give us excellent food and service, but he helped us get our rental car changed out due to a mechanical issue and needing a bigger vehicle for the return trip. Will definitely return when we are back home for another trip. Hands down best Chinese food ever!

First time getting Mr.Chen tonight on Christmas night, placed a to-go order and was ready super fast about 15/20 minutes. The two ladies were lovely…. But the food! Definitely the best fried rice I’ve ever had, and the beef lo mein was delicious. It wasn’t filled in with carrots and cabbage like most places so you barely get any actual noodle. It had so much noodle and beef and just the right amount of carrots and onions etc. definitely recommend and will be back

I have to visit every time I visit Fall River. It used to be Sam’s bakery for their meatless. Now , its Mr Chen. I love getting his Crab Ragoon it doesn’t make my system sick due to the o ion content. His food always is fresh and he uses clean oil when frying. Every one must understand this statement. I wish I were closer I would eat Chinese here at least twice a week. The cost is cheaper than cooking. Plus, he so cares about his customers and his community

My family loves everything we order from Mr. Chen! We brought our two daughters who were visiting from Texas, and they were extremely kind and helpful with dietary restrictions for one of our girls. Our youngest daughter is obsessed with the strawberry smoothies. The food is always great, as well as the service, and we will continue to keep coming back.

Mr. Chen Asian Food in Fall River, MA, is a cozy and flavorful spot that hits all the right notes, especially if you’re an Asian foodie and a proud nerd like me. The menu is packed with delicious Chinese takeout favorites—think perfectly crispy egg rolls, savory fried rice, and rich, saucy entrees that deliver serious comfort. But what really sealed the deal for me was the bubble tea. It’s legit: chewy tapioca pearls, well-balanced sweetness, and a great variety of flavors that go beyond the basics. It’s clear they put care into every cup and every plate.
Now, let’s talk about the Lego displays—because wow. If you’re even remotely into Lego (or just have a soft spot for anything geeky and awesome), you’re in for a treat. From intricate sets to custom builds, the displays scattered around the restaurant feel like a mini gallery of creativity and nerd pride. It adds such a fun, unexpected personality to the place. Mr. Chen isn’t just a place to grab great food and bubble tea—it’s a vibe, especially for those of us who love a little fandom flair with our dinner.
