Was hesitant in coming in because mixed reviews! And honestly glad I came in. Everything super clean. Extremely friendly staff and everyone is hands on. And the food amazing. Right away you notice the crab wrangon made in fresh oil. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back.

The worst Asian food I’ve tried in Miami
I thought this place would be good because the food looks decent, but the reality is completely different. The chicken doesn’t even taste like real chicken, weird texture, too much dough, the oil they use feels super cheap, and there’s absolutely no flavors. The rice isn’t proper sushi rice, and the dumplings were honestly disgusting.
We ordered sesame chicken, Tso chicken, and two kinds of dumplings – and everything was a huge disappointment. We couldn’t even finish our meals. Right now, I actually feel nauseous after eating this food.
You simply can’t feed people food like this. Horrible experience overall.

Super friendly staff. Clean and stylish seating area with high ceilings and airy modern design. Nicely prepared dishes- delicately seasoned. Very reasonable prices, particularly in this neighborhood. What’s not to like?? 5 stars across the board. Lunch was so tasty that we ordered the roast duck to take home for dinner!

I’m from out of town and someone recommended this restaurant. At first I was hesitant to try, seeing negative reviews about the long wait but we decided anyways. There were no available tables in the main dining area but we were quickly seated by some tables by the bar. I mentioned that my young child was super hungry and we ordered quickly. The waitress accommodated us and we received my child’s food very quickly as well as our appetizers. We didn’t wait too long overall for our food and the service was actually great. The food was also very tasty. The waitress kept checking on us and overall we had a great experience!

This local gem exceeded my expectations with phenomenal food and service. Everything we ordered—from appetizers to entrees—was absolutely delicious. The staff was delightful, making for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended, and I look forward to returning to my new favorite Chinese spot in the Miami/Broward area!

I’ve been visiting all Asian restaurants in North Beach/Aventura area to post a blog and give people a list where to eat and shop! I’d heard about this restaurant but resisted going cause I suspected from menu it would be more American Chinese!
When I entered, it’s clean and renovated cause I noticed upgraded decor from older photos. The back area where I was directed to sit, the furniture was too big in the middle isle and we had to squeeze past elbows.
My friend and I both ordered Lunch Special. The minute the Hot & Sour Soup came out, I could tell it was full of cornstarch. The texture was slimy and not pleasant. I order this soup as a benchmark to check if the quality of food will be good. Hit it right on the head. Bad start.
The server thought I said Sesame Beef but I ordered Sichuan Beef. I didn’t return it because I didn’t want my friend to eat on her own or wait for me.
The Sesame beef was covered in batter and topped with a thick, sweet sauce! The beef itself wasn’t bad but the goopy sauce had probably MSG AND high sugar (which many Chinese restaurants tend to use) was the kind that sent me to sleep in my car before I could finish my food shopping!
The pork fried rice was very dry and tasteless! How can you go wrong with fried rice? Come on.
I would return to try dumplings and main dishes BUT if they can’t get simple dishes right, why would I spend more money there?

Mr Chef’s is a solid spot for dine in or takeout Chinese food in Aventura. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor—especially the Mongolian beef and their specialty handmade dumplings. Their Peking Duck is delicious and we love the wraps they use. It’s a casual place, but the service was fast and very attentive. The menu has a good mix of favorites and popular classics. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Nice Chinese alternative for dining in or taking out any day of the week. You can enjoy mostly flavors of Cantonese style, but also some delicious options are available. The price quality is fair and the service friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! The manager Mimi is a horrible rude person! She is biased against elderly&disabled people. Makes people wait 30-40 min for tables,then seats people who arrive after you. They’ll tell you the tables were already reserved. Complete lie. Mimi is disrespectful&abusive to loyal customers. She needs to be replaced because this restaurant is losing business due to her terrible attitude
