This is a decent chicken finger restaurant. The upside of this place is probably the portion. I got a 6-fingers meal and I was stuffed. I ordered half fried and half grilled chicken and I enjoy the fried ones better. The grilled chicken was a bit bland. The meat is juicy and tender and the batter on the fried one is well-season, not too salty (but I think it could have been crispier). They have many options for sauce although I still prefer my fries with just ketchup. The fries and the toast are very average, not bad but nothing special about them. The place is like an old school restaurant although they keep it pretty clean.

I had heard raving reviews of this chicken and was so excited to try it! I unfortunately had to get it to go, I would have loved to eat it fresh at the restaurant. It was still so so good though. I feel like it was a unique batter- it like melts in your mouth!! the chicken was so juicy and tender, and the sauce was tasty! i wish i could have sampled more sauces, but the signature sauce was good. Overall very pleased!

Charlie’s Chicken Fingers over Canes is a no-brainer. Very large generously sized fingers, perfectly cooked and not dry. Great selection of sides and also multiple sauces to try. Large portion sizes and fairly priced. The crinkle fries are outstanding. If you’re a standard wing fan, those are excellent as well. Great way to support local, and as you can see from my picture, it’s quite the spot at lunchtime, but still quick on the service.

I’ve been eating here for years and the quality has been consistently great. The staff has always been friendly, the tenders are so crispy juicy and flavorful, the Charlie’s sauce is amazing. This is the best chicken spot in Utah and has been for awhile. It was here before canes came over and I still choose here over going to canes any day.

Good food. Absolutely terrible phone service. Was on hold for over 45 minutes. In that time, I was able to drop stuff off to my wife in west valley, drive to this store, place an order, and receive an order, all while being on hold. Some of us prefer calling. Please cater to thos local customers that have gone here before.

First time getting take-out from Mr. Charlie’s, and they forgot most of the extras I paid for, no slaw, no extra Texas toast, and I received a random assortment of sauces that was different from what I ordered. I guess this is just another joint that throws a bunch of random food into a take-out bag and is like ‘probably not what you ordered, but fingers crossed!’
The chicken was great, but with restaurant prices being what they are, when you get home and realize they forgot your sides, it’s hard not to feel ripped off. Check the bag before you leave!

10/10 would easily recommend over several other chicken places. I got the 4 chicken tenders and didn’t leave hungry. The chicken wasn’t dry which is always my experience at raising canes. They had a variety of sauces, their cheesecake cups were delicious and their Mac and cheese actually tasted like they made it in house.

I had to stop, it has my namesake! First time here and it was ok. Not spectacular, but not bad. I was pretty hungry but decided to get the 4 piece tenders combo meal (fried) instead of the 6 piece. Glad I only got the 4 piece! They are very large pieces of chicken and they were served with a hefty portion of fries. It came with a slice of Texas toast that tasted stale. Seemed like it was made hours ago and left out. For that they lost a star. Other than that, it was good. I’ll come back again if I’m in the area.

Stopped in for lunch first time trying this place. The portions are huge and the food is good. The tenders are twice the size of canes. Over all it was decent did not get a 5th star due to the cleanliness of the restaurant. It was dusty soda machines that needed to be wiped down but besides that a solid experience. I recommend the 2 piece combo fries and a few sides of their signature sauce.

Mr. Charlie’s is the best fried chicken place in Utah! We live in Idaho but ALWAYS come here when we are visiting. Get Charlie’s sauce with your fries and tenders! It is a must. My husband loves the Po’ Boy sandwich and gets it every time.
