5 stars is the wrong review! It’s 10 stars!!! 12!!! There aren’t enough stars in the sky! Oh. My goodness the coffee is an experience!! We were traveling through and I always turn to Google Reviews to find any place I’m looking for when I’m anywhere I don’t know. lol So cute outside! SO cute inside!! So clean! And they are so, so incredibly NICE!!! Our hostess was wonderful! And it was so clean! The food was good but the lattes were divine! We’ve been searching out coffee shops all over since last summer and we’ve found a couple places out of the dozens that we would recommend to folks in Denver. We would recommend people FROM Denver, drive up to Mr Burro’s!!! No kidding. Make a day of it and go have coffee. The place is in a restored old cabin and the vibe is rustic and then you walk in and it’s brand spanking 8 months old rustic! And not touristy overdone either. It’s perfect. It’s also accessible. Go. Run! Drive! Fly! Have coffee and a chat with lovely people and live a beautiful life!

I drove 10 mi to get a coffee and I found this place and everyone was hustling and moving and all the customers seemed really happy so I came back for breakfast the next two days just to support them, the white chocolate mocha was amazing, but more importantly, one of the owners was just so humble and kind and I was extremely happy to support her new business

This place has personality, from the friendly smile that greets you to the cozy cabin decor. Found a cozy corner and indulged in a delicious pot of loose leaf tea. Seemingly a new item on their menu and they have I think 16 teas to choose from! Check out the photo of the cute tea set! Then the food – and Mayra was there with a beaming smile to guide me. She didn’t even pause when I mentioned food allergies and the recommended Rainbow Sandwich (gluten and dairy free and a veggie lovers delight) was fresh, delicious and very satisfying. Not even open a year, these ladies have it figured out – cozy relaxed surroundings, really great food, delicious loose leaf teas (I hear the coffee and hot chocolate are highly rated also!) and attentive service with a beaming smile. Highly recommend this cute cafe. I’ll be back Mr Burro

As a local living in Fairplay, it is such a joy to have the Mr. Burro Cafe in our community. The service is absolutely exceptional and the owners are so friendly and bend over backwards to make sure your experience is top notch. AND on top of that, the food is fresh and tasty. It’s a great place to stop for a coffee to go, or grab a table and get a little bit of work done. Love it!

Stopped at Mr Burro Cafe because our favorite Fairplay coffee shop was closed, and I think I have a new favorite! The staff here are the BEST, so friendly, and make great drinks. I ordered a half decaf/half caf and a non-dairy iced coffee, and they didn’t blink an eye. While I was waiting they served someone a peppermint hot chocolate and the presentation was beautiful. When I got my drinks, they even made sure that I tasted them to make sure the ratios were good. Top notch.

SO delicious! Everything was fresh and made to order. The turkey sandwich was incredible (comes with avocado – yum!) and side salad was a wonderful option. The bagel muffuletta was TASTY and had a generous meat portion. My daughter scarfed down her kids ham & cheese sandwich which is rare! Service was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the interior design is super cute!

I would highly recommend this place. They have really good coffees and food. I had white chocolate mocha and it was incredible. The food is freshly made and really delicious! The ambience was really cozy and the owners were polite and helpful.
