The frenchbread french toast was to thin. It cooled off before I got it. The scrambled eggs w melted cheese was good. The French fries were good. The biscuits in gravy were good. Just mabe less black pepper in it. The whole place is warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and they seem knowledgeable about the menu. Our server was very nice! Thank you!

Went here for breakfast on a weekday. Not too busy, clean atmosphere. Seemed like a place where regulars hang out. Our party of two had the power bowl with avocado. One of us had the standard home fries and the other had hash browns. The bowls were generous sized, was surprised that it was basically 50% potatoes, and the rest the other ingredients. Wasn’t expecting that, but good to know. The sourdough bread dude was good, albeit heavily buttered FYI.

Service top-notch. Huge portions and reasonably price. Food was awesome! On the weekend expect a wait to get in.

Food is amazing. The first batch of hash browns tasted like they’ve been sitting on the griddle for a while. My server, Mitchell quickly took care of it and brought me out a fresh order and they were delicious. The cinnamon swirl pancakes were amazing, the bacon was cooked perfectly and the scrambled eggs were prepared just right. I noticed they have a gluten free option so my kids can enjoy their pancakes. I will be coming back with my family next time.

We ordered takeout of lemon blueberry pancakes and the banana bread French toast. It was very delicious, but we were sad to see that they forgot the bananas and powdered sugar for the french toast. We would still highly recommend this place.

We stopped into Mr. B’s Pancake House about an hour before they closed. The hostess greeted us with a smile and led us to our table. The waitress was prompt and very sweet. We both had the Mr. B’s Favorite meal. It came with 2 eggs, a choice of meat (I got the ham), potatoes (I went with tator tots), and a choice between toast or 3 small pancakes. Of course, I went for the pancakes with blueberries added. It was all delicious and very filling. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. We will be returning soon.

Today we went for breakfast and there was a, “50 year anniversary” sign in the window. Though predominately a breakfast restaurant there is a small lunch menu and the side salad I saw carried out had me thinking I’ll be back to explore it.

Based on my breakfast experience today I can see why Mr. B’s has been around longer than I have.
We ordered two Breakfast bowls. She had the “Meat Lovers” and I the”Power Bowl”. The Power Bowl is a bunch of veggies and quinoa with scrambled eggs on top. It was fantastic with a good rich flavor and well textured veggies. I like mine with a bit of hot sauce for some kick (choice between Franks, Tobasco, or Chulula). Both bowls came with an option of toast or mini pancakes (which were a meal in themselves). We both “upgraded” the basic pancakes. She had banana and strawberry and I got a Nutella and hazelnut kind. Though mine was a little dry the flavor and texture were delicious. Hers were fantastic as the batter itself had banana flavor (yum).
We also both enjoyed the banana-strawberry smoothie. $6 and not huge but sooo good!

We also ordered some blueberry and lemon pancakes and these were probably my favorite thing. Lemon isn’t usually my go-to for anything but these were so tasty.

The coffee she ordered was good too. No burnt flavor I personally associate to all day breakfast places.

Me and the wife stopped here for breakfast this past Saturday and this place stole from us.. it was just me and my wife we got 2 meals and 2 drinks we were there for less than a hour and we got charged a 20% large party tip, without our consent or being told we were a large party even tho like I said we were just 2 people.. we won’t be going back after that.. Just thought you all should know if you go here with 2 people they’ll charge you 20% for being a large party… couldn’t recommend you guys skip this place enough muskegon had plenty of other nice places that dont steal from their customers..

They have very good food and service. The prices are about average or fair. It was pricey, but we ordered quite a bit. It was a very relaxed atmosphere with great service.
