So I’ve lived in Marion for over a year now. I’ve driven and walked passed Mr. Bob’s Donuts numerous times. I finally had the chance to walk in. Damnit I’m so mad at myself right now. So I caught them after a big rush so they were running low. But that Maple donut was delicious. If you’re in Marion and craving a sweet treat, make your way here and get you some.

I love this place; I love that it closes once they sell out of donuts. I can’t recall all the donuts, but I was impressed. They were 10X better than most hipster places in major cities, down to earth vibe, and have a good variety of types of donuts, old fashion to playful combos.

Loved this hole in the wall donut shop that you have to squeeze into when it gets busy, or there is a pickup window in the front. No seating. The yeast donuts and apple uglies were delicious. The chocolate glaze was dark and luscious. Highly recommend this family owned and run business in Downtown Marion, NC.

Y’all. These are some good donuts. We randomly found this on a google list when driving through Marion and we’re so glad we stopped. The girl working inside was so nice and personable. She mentioned she went to culinary school for baking and was bringing in some new pastries and flavor combos. We had two of the specials. A blueberry donut cake and a peaches and cream donut. He couldn’t stop talking about “the best donut he’s ever had”. Highly recommend!

Mr. Bob’s Donuts was fantastic. We tried the peanut butter filled with chocolate drizzle, strawberry filled, lemon filled and chocolate glazed. They were truly divine. The filling was perfect on each one, especially the peanut butter and strawberry. I also tried their coffee. It did not disappoint! I hate that I don’t live closer, but then again probably a good thing 🙂
