We enjoyed our dinner very much at MP Taverna. We started with the crispy calamari and artichokes, shrimp & tzatziki and I must say the portions were HUGE! Dinner included delicious wine, sangria, lobster risotto and lemon chicken.

We enjoy eating at the bar, as we meet people and have a better dining experience, Food and atmosphere was buzzing. We had Greek Margaritas and they were really good to start. meatball appetizer was excellent. I had a Greek salad w Amish chicken, excellent and my wife Julie had Swordfish which was also equally good. no desserts for us. we met owner and chef, Mike. nice guy and Emanuel the Mgr. the whole experience was great and you should go to MP Taverna as it is near the water.

We love Greek food and chose to have Saturday lunch in here. Food was delicious! Everything was fresh & tasted SO good and it didn’t take very long to get our food. Eggplant dip and grilled octopus are must haves for appetizers.

July 2023, 5 STARS for the food and service, and 1 STAR for the LOUD MUSIC. I have been coming here for a few years now because we love the food and service. However, yesterday sitting in the bar area around 5pm, we had to ask the Manager to turn down the music because it was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation, and who wants to keep shouting at each other across the table in order to talk. YES, the Manager did turn the music down. Don’t get me wrong I love music, and I am not a prude, but I am not going to spend my money here if I cannot enjoy my food, wine and good conversation. All and all, we will come back because the food here is top notch, and hopefully the music will be enjoyable in the background.

The service was good, all the guys were gentle. The ambience is very calm and familiar. The location is a little hidden but it is surprisingly cozy inside. It is located just close to the Hudson river. Large parking in the front. The food is great itself and I think putting more main courses and a dessert list would be the improvement they need.

This place definitely has an upscale vibe, is in an upscale location by the Hudson River (the waterfront park nearby is downright beautiful),and the food reflects that in both price and quality. Being on my lunch break at work here, this was a treat! The burger was great and the smashed fries were unique and interesting, like a hybrid of chips and potato wedges.

Food is decent but we had a dead bug on one of the plates. They apologized and brought a new one but you’d think the meal would be comped no? I didn’t ask I would think it would be a decent policy.
