On our drive back home from San Diego, we stopped in Imperial, CA for dinner and ended up at Mozzarella Artisan Bistro—what a pleasant surprise. My wife ordered the Chicken Primavera with Alfredo sauce and said it was the best she’s ever had—rich, perfectly balanced, and not heavy. I had the pork belly tacos, and if you’ve never experienced pork belly, these are a must-try. They were incredibly well done, tender, and still packed with that classic bacon flavor. This restaurant is absolutely worth the stop if you’re passing through Imperial.

Pizza was solid. Sauce was a bit bland but overall it’s not bad at all. I’d recommend ordering your pizza well done. The garlic truffle fries were amazing. Service was solid staff is very nice.

Great place to get a burger and fries. Their house burger is tasty and huge. I get it once or twice a month. This place could get busy on certain days…specially if there is a local town event.

Went last Sunday the 31st arrived at 1145 am. Ordered a cauliflower pizza 3 sandwiches and a big salad. Friends had driven in from San Diego on my recommendation for this place. First out was the pizza, then the salad 30 minutes later and finally one sandwich at the 1 hour and 10 minute mark. People arriving after us were receiving their orders before us. I stopped our waiter I think his name was Presley or Preston and inquired about our additional meals, and was told “the Chef” was making the easiest items first. I asked how much easier was it to make a grilled cheese sandwich with ham in it? He offered us his employee discount to make up for the wait. I asked for a manager and was told there wasn’t one on today. I asked for someone in charge and was told nobody was in charge. After 2 hours we left and we still hadn’t received all of our orders as other customers who arrived after us received their food. I have tried calling to speak with a manager to explain what happened today, I was told they had left and the person answering the phone stated they didn’t know when they would be back, I asked if they would be in on Wed and was told she didn’t know the managers schedule.

Placed an order for 4 carry out Pizzas, I’ve purchased from here before so I always look forward to that oven backed pizza. But today they all tasted like chemical almost like a lighter fluid taste. I Called the place but line was busy for awhile. Called the next day no answer. Very disappointed.

This place is nice. Peter, our pizza maker and miriam, our waitress was absolutely amazing. From having no problems making a custom pizza for us to just checking in on us to make sure we were fine throughout our dining experience. The restaurant was clean, and so were our glassware and utensils, and the place smelled of good food. The bathrooms were well equipped, and nothing would stop you from using them found. The prices were reasonable and just a nice atmosphere overall. When you don’t want runn of the mill pizza and ready to upgrade with better dough and ingredients, call Mozzarelli or, better yet, stop by!

I got the Alessandra pizza. It looked and tasted delicious. They have little tables outside, but it was too hot for me so I ate it in my car. I liked it very much and recommend it to others. I’m from out of town, so sadly I won’t be able to eat any time soon, but you locals better go enjoy it. Thumbs up!

Just left the restaurant the pizza they said was going to take an hour when we asked why so long they said they didn’t have enough pizza doe so they were thawing some we ordered still my mom n law ordered clam chowder and it was very watery when we asked if they could take it off our bill they said no we don’t have a manager the lady at the counter was rude they looked busy but I don’t understand why there isn’t any manager around very sad because we really like this place but poor management isn’t a good look I think our server paid for the chowder he was a good server but management needs improvement !
