Over the last three visits, the food has been disappointing, but tonight was by far the worst. I ordered Crab Rangoon and Mu Shu Pork. The Crab Rangoon was inedible—overcooked, yet somehow cold, drenched in grease, and had an awful smell. The Mu Shu Pork wasn’t much better.
I called to give feedback, but the person on the phone put me on hold three separate times before I finally gave up and hung up. It was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
It’s heartbreaking to see such a decline in a place I used to love. I can’t help but wonder—has the restaurant changed ownership recently?
Best Asian food between U P
and Elkhorn.
Dinner for 4 is my side dish for home and they pack it up secure and still warm when I get home.
Everything we ordered was very flavorful. For starters we had the egg flower soup- very yum, the hot and sour soup- one of the best we have had , dumplings- as expected good and eggrolls- very unique good flavor. We were already impressed. I had a Mai Tai which was on the overly sweet side.
For main course we tried the kungpao- a baseline for us . This one was very well made, but more saucy than we are used to, and a bit on the sweet side.
The Mongolian beef was excellent and so was the Most fried rice. We tried something different – hot spicy chicken and we’re asked spice level. We picked medium. This too came out very saucy , flavorful, but a bit too saucy for my liking. Was good to try but if I order again, will try the spicy version and see if that makes a difference.
Over all, love this place, eager to go back and sample more dishes of their big menu
