Best food in the entire town. Really not a lot of good restaurant options in Jim Thorpe but this place is top notch.

Slightly larger than tapas style. Delicious food. Incredible menu. Very cute and well decorated right near everything in town. The rigatoni , roasted chicken , and burrata were my absolute favorites. The mushrooms were also insanely good. Everything was amazing. Definitely the best place in town – I hate pubs and breweries/bars for food.

The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is charming and the service was second to none. We return every year for my wife’s birthday.

We had an exceptional dining experience at Moya. From start to finish, every dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. We began with the apple salad fresh, balanced, and the perfect opener followed by the mushroom side, short ribs, and the braised lamb shank, all of which were rich, tender, and beautifully executed. Dessert was the crème brûlée, and it was the ideal ending: silky, perfectly set, and not overly sweet.

A special mention to our server, Niki…fun, knowledgeable, attentive, and refreshingly not intrusive. She struck the perfect balance of being there when needed without hovering. An outstanding experience all around. If you are in Jim Thorpe PA definitely make a reservation! .

We stopped in during on a busy Saturday during the fall festival without a reservation. We were luckily enough to be seated within 15 minutes.

The food and the staff were both amazing.

My husband order the half chicken with the sauteed mushrooms. Both were very good. On a personal note, I detest mushrooms, but was very hungry, and waiting for my meal to cool down, ate a few of the mushrooms. They were sauteed with some type of white bean and parm cheese. I couldn’t believe how good they tasted.

I ordered one of the specials they were offering; a chicken sandwich on rosemary focaccia bread. The bread was so amazing. I could have used a tad more of the arugula, but it was so good. I wanted to save half for later, but had to finish it all because it was just that good!

We also got the very fudgy chocolate ice cream for dessert, which if you are a fan of Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Brownie, you’ll love it.

I Highly recommend this place, we stopped on a whim, and were so glad we did.

What a wonderful experience. We heard a lot of buzz about this place from locals when visiting Jim Thorpe so I made reservations. The restaurant has a romance to it. The husband is the chef, the wife is the artist. They live at the property. You can tell they are both passionate about their crafts from the ambiance of the restaurant and the quality of the food.

We walked into beautiful paintings. We were the first ones there that night. The menu was well explained to us. It’s almost tapas style. You order plates to share. My husband and I just finished the 25 mile Lehigh gorge bike adventure and we were really hungry. We ordered the prosciutto salad, the braised short rib, the goat cheese fusili, and the crab cake. The short rib was wonderful, balanced abs tender, the red wine reduction done perfectly, not cloyingly sweet or salty. However for the price, the portion was pretty small.

We ended up ordering the lamb after this thinking we’d get a small portion as well, but we ended up with a whole rack of lamb! We could only eat one piece each and took the rest home. Overall, a pleasant and memorable experience. Service was great, drinks were strong. A culinary highlight in Jim Thorpe. We’ll go again when we visit.

Unbelievably Great! The lamb was ridiculously tasty. The short ribs melts in your mouth. The octopus salad has so many flavors that all work together. The Giant corn and crab cake are delicious! Reallllly cool artwork! Our server Jasmine was professional and helpful.

I am from NYC and took a nice overnight road trip to give this place a try since it shares my mother’s name. The place is nice and cozy with modern art decor. The server was very friendly and helpful and food was really delicious. Hopefully, I will go back again when I do another trip to Jim Thorpe PA.

We had an absolutely outstanding meal and experience at Moya. From cocktails upstairs with Andrew.

Every single dish was creative, fresh, and flavorful —a true delight. What made the evening truly special, however, was the incredible hospitality. We were so graciously hosted by co-owner Stephanie, and our server, Maxine, was attentive and wonderful. You can feel the personal family touch in their restaurant, and it turns a great meal into a memorable, personal experience. In addition, Stephanie’s artwork is displayed in the restaurant.

This is a must-visit gem in Jim Thorpe. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Wow! Amazing food. Amazing drinks. I don’t usually order lamb but I’m so glad I did! I said to my husband at least 20 times it was the best meal I’ve had in a LONG time! Also get the apple salad. You will not be disappointed! Don’t forget the dessert too. The chocolate mousse with fresh blueberries is incredible.

Been looking forward to coming here for years and for some reason I dragged my feet… I’ve heard nothing but good things from fellow locals and fellow service industry peeps!
Was able to call night of and get a reservation for 2 a few mins later, we were sat promptly!
Beautiful atmosphere, a lot of 2 top tables, and maybe some 4 tops. I’m sure they can also accommodate other group sizes from what I gathered.
Cool atmosphere, probably great for a date night. Cool menu as well with some good choices and fair prices IMO.
Alright so….
atmosphere=good
Prices=fair
Service…. was really lacking. The restaurant might’ve sat 20-25 people on the one level, and yet our server seemed extremely overwhelmed and not attentive. That’s always such a bummer, when servers seem stretched thin, and then each table suffers in turn. Maxine was sweet but not very present at all, we had to hunt her down but she was running and turning on her heel super fast anytime we tried to ask her for something it came across as an annoyance or she was in a major rush and turning around as I was requesting something so it felt very un-hospitable.
Emily came with boxes and our check and a coffee refill too.
We never received a second carafe of water despite asking for it.
Nobody asked how the food was.
We shared about 5 different dishes and everything except the spicy shrimp was extremely bland.

Might come back and give it another go, but not entirely convinced.

Still left a 20% tip cause I’m not a monster, but I really didn’t want to.
