My friend and I walked in without a reservation, and we were so grateful for how accommodating the staff was in getting us a seat. The service throughout the evening was exceptional—everyone was friendly, funny, and genuinely attentive. We felt really welcomed. As for the food, it was really enjoyable! My friend had the lamb, which she really liked, and I had the ribeye, which was flavorful. The Brussels sprouts Caesar and the Wagyu-wrapped appetizer were both nice additions to the meal. They also served us a sweet little hot chocolate in a shot glass when we were finished with our meal. That was a great addition for my sweet tooth. While everything was tasty, I think there’s a little room for even more flavor depth in some dishes. Still, we left very satisfied. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and I’d definitely recommend this place. Looking forward to coming back!

Excellent, excellent, excellent service, food, and ambiance. It is patently clear from the conversations throughout the restaurant and kitchen that the attentive owner and staff care deeply about the dining experience of all their guests. The experience is worth the high price point. I will certainly return if I am ever back in Sacramento on a weekend.

I went with my partner for our anniversary. The service was kind and prompt. Our server, who I presume is the owner, came and took our order while offering jokes and positive vibes help making it feel intimate and homey. The physical menu is small, but there is a large specials menu that is verbally spoken. Additionally, they offer “anything you can find nearby we’ll get it”.
We got a mushroom appetizer off the menu, a pasta special, a salmon special, a bottle of red wine and a chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Every meal was scrumptious and had us wanting more.
This restaurant feels like a hole in the wall, but don’t be fooled as it’s marvelous!

This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food was original and delicious and the kind of meal that makes you want to savor every bite. The owner Adam is a true artist and so charming. He makes you feel like family. I will definitely be making this my go to place for dining out and be recommending it to all my family and friends. Two visits in, I can say that I will likely be back again. Make sure to listen to the specials because there are a lot! First visit I went with the chicken parmesan, which is some of the best I’ve been had. Second time I went with the petite filet with prawns special, and while it was good, I think I prefer the chicken parm.
Finishing up with the cheesecake is an exquisite choice if you have room for desert. The ambience is very nice and makes for a delightful evening in Sacramento!
