Tried this place out today for the first time. Had a quick lunch break with my wife. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice – much larger inside than it looks from the outside. Has a full bar! The food was great but did not give a full five stars because I had a hole in the bottom of my coleslaw that got on my work slacks and the chicken fingers tasted great but the oil needed refreshed or the cook time pulled back by just a touch. Can’t wait to try the lamb burger as I love lamb! The menu is extensive and every item listed sounded delicious, so many more visits to come.

Moxie Burger in Kennesaw: The restaurant looks nice, and the sweet potato fries were good.
Unfortunately, the hamburger was disappointing. I ordered it well done, but it came out medium. I was very hungry, so that was frustrating. I showed it to the cashier, and she agreed it wasn’t well done, but there was no apology. She said she would tell the cook, and that was it.
Also, there are no separate men’s and women’s restrooms. There are three unisex bathrooms. Ladies, be aware that the toilet seat was left up when I walked in.

I stumbled upon this little gem while trying to grab food before my daughter’s volleyball game … and honestly, I feel like I struck gold! I haven’t tried much on the menu yet, but the fried chicken Caesar salad is amazing. My only small gripe is that there’s not quite enough dressing for such a big salad.
I’ve been to this location a handful of times now, and my meals have been consistently good. It’s got a great atmosphere … I was able to eat, get a little work done, and chat with my mom and daughter all in one visit. I haven’t tried the drinks yet, but I’m hoping they’re just as good when I decide to try one!

I had the Entrepreneur burger, fries, and sweet tea. The food and drink were fine, seems very similar to Five Guys burger and fries in my opinion. I ordered my food to go. It didn’t take too long and the staff was friendly.

My Heater Burger was cooked just right. We also had the Turkey burger which was a little dry. The chicken tenders were good as well. Definitely a step above the frozen stuff you get at other places. There’s a nice little bar in the restaurant with craft beers on tap and some wine. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table so it’s pretty casual. Prices were reasonable.

The family thoroughly enjoyed the burgers here. Initially, I had the feeling of its just another burger place. It was not. The choices of burgers was unique and based on what we got, also delicious. There could have been better service, a more welcoming experience but it was close to closing time and I get it… everyone wants to clean up and get out. The meal was great nonetheless. The zucchini fries and lamb burger were the newer types of flavors that we tried and it gave an experience that was truly unique and enjoyable.

We arrived at the restaurant approximately 8:30pm and the restaurant closed at 9:00pm. We ordered our food and took our seats at a table to dine in. Moments later a server approached our table and told us we had to get our food to go. I totally understand that it was close to closing time, but this was not good customer service telling us to get our food to go. I normally don’t do bad reviews but this was definitely a review that had to be posted.

Edit (August 2024): I’m changing from 4 to 5 stars because every time I have eaten there in the past 6 months the requested temp has been what I wanted, the customization options are awesome (they will make my perfect fried green tomato BLT on Texas toast without a burger patty and ring it up as a kid’s meal with fries and drink), AND they have $4 mimosas and a patio with fans. Pretty great (and affordable).

I like the size of the burger, the Texas toast bun option, and the fried green tomato topping, which they don’t have many other places. I wish they had mozzarella cheese for when I want the melt factor to hold everything together without a strong cheese flavor. They also ask for preferred temperature, but I have never managed to get a burger that was less than medium-well. In my pic I ordered mid-rare, definitely not even close. But it’s still a good burger, so not really a big deal.

I will say the food was so good as was the serving size. I find that burger places once can often feel hungry not long after 6 that was not the case with this one.
The food was unique and so tasty. I found myself really wanting to not decide between a couple of the options. Lucky for me, my husband catered to that desire and ordered one of the burgers I was wanting so we could try both. Not only that, they also allow for you to do a 50/50 on the sides. We got fries and fried pickles.
