This is a large restaurant inside the hotel, although quite uncrowded in winter, but with a very good chef and first class food. The selection of drinks could be better, but the food is top notch.

For a $16 breakfast buffet, I thought it was pretty good. Everything was pretty standard – what you expect breakfast items to taste like. I really liked the sausages. The pancakes’ texture was really really good. They were crispy on the sides, and soft and tender in the middle.

We stayed at the Chateau during a winter storm. It was pretty bad out, so we decided to eat at Mountainview. I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was busy. The bartender was also the only waitress. Although she was extremely busy, she was also extremely proficient. Our cups never went empty. We did have to wait longer than expected for our food, but given the circumstances, we understood. Our food was actually very tasty with a nice presentation! I will visit again!

What a nice meal here at this restaurant. Decor is dated but the waiter and especially the lady bartender were excellent. Drinks were potent and sweet chili wings were perfect, Stromboli packed w meat. Very nice time even showing up w 45 before closing .

so We went up to stay and have Thanksgiving dinner. The room no frills simple but was reasonable, clean, bed comfortable, hot water. We ate dinner in our room when we got settled. He had a burger I had the chicken parm. Huge portion very good price. Service was great by all staff. We’ve stayed at many resorts from the Ledges to Cove Haven. Thanksgiving dinner was delicious. From soup or salad to a full course Turkey dinner and desert. They even boxed leftovers. Pictures hope I can upload.

The whole experience was bad the apple and orange juice was watered-down, the drinks left a very musty taste in my mouth and tasted old. They charged for items that should be free there was things floating in my drink. My food was burnt and undercooked I don’t know how that’s possible, my kids will eat anything that’s edible but they couldn’t eat this. I don’t recommend this place until they overhaul everything.

Only good for breakfast. It advertises like there’s actually dining options for families that stay there but it is not.Horrendously understaffed so if you stay at this resort and ate hungry do not do it to yourself and go eat outside somewhere else. Only one lady working for the whole resort for bar and serving the regular tables for families.
