HUGE mums and a great selection and prices. So many different plants and wonderful sales.

Being a D.C. native, I’m usually weary when it comes to getting food in rural places. Typically- I’m afraid that it will be bland or overpriced because it’s a small business in the middle of nowhere Maryland. HOWEVER. This place was so good! The food was priced well, seasoned AMAZINGLY, and the portions? Out of this world. Must try deli, skip the Subway and come here.

Husband ordered the $22 Pit Beef Combo (pit beef sandwich with fries). The beef was bland, the bun was soggy, and the fries tasted like they were day old and reheated in warm (not hot) oil…they were soggy not crispy. My club sandwich ($13) was good. Also ordered a Dr. Pepper ($3.50) that tasted so gross I could only take 2 tiny sips…tasted like it was run through a dirty machine. Wound up throwing the whole large cup of it away. The service was good though and there was a shaded picnic area to eat.

Passing through on the way home and very high quality, delicious food!! Platter meal plus soup came to $20. Wait time was close to 20 minutes but it’s all made fresh and worth it! Spacious picnic tables outside to eat in the beautiful weather. Friendly staff and right across the street is the historic market stand.

My son and I stopped in for lunch. Pork BBQ, handout fries and smoked mac n cheese. All AMAZING! The service was quick and friendly, and the Dr. Pepper was delicious!

HIGHLY recommend! Was visiting from an hour & a half away. Randomly googled where I could get lunch & chose this place. I have ALL good things to say about it! The menu & the food is amazing! The girl running the front was super sweet! I regret not getting more food to bring home! I want to visit the area again just to come to eat here again! Excellent service!

Excellent food! Excellent service. The pork bbq sandwich was so good along with the smoked beans. I’m not big on fries but these were perfect. I could smell how fresh my wife’s BLT was as she opened it. Didn’t even have room to have the ice cream.

Driven past here hundreds of times had never stopped. Went with my daughter today. Got a pit beef sandwich really good and my daughter got a burger. We split an order of fries which were really good.

Stopped from out of town on our way to Harper’s Ferry. Incredibly kind, hospitable service, and the owner was hilarious and a joy to talk to. Ordered the turkey provolone with all the fixings and I can honestly say it was the best sub I’ve had in years. 10/10 would recommend!!!
