This is exactly what you want in a small town. It is a historical building that has been renovated into the most charming café and bakery. You could dream up. In the winter they have a big fireplace going. There are a little tables tucked around two different rooms. They also have a beer tap room now, which is amazing. The food is exquisite, the bakery items are to die for. They also have tasting menus a couple times a month that would rival any high-end restaurant, but I feel it’s better because of the atmosphere. I come here at least twice a week and have never been disappointed.

This is a hidden gem of a place. I am happy to have found it though. The staff here were very friendly and professional. The food is good. There is plenty of parking throughout the property. The view nice outside. I am looking forward to going back again soon!

What more could you ask for when you are enjoying a sandwich or a salad, and surrounding by the lush pasture on a sunny afternoon. Simple menu with quality ingredient. The indoor setting also offers cozy environment especially for the winter time. It’s a perfect spot to spend time with friends or family. Reasonable price and I would recommend it.

We used mountainside to cater dessert for our backyard wedding, and wow was it a hit! They dropped everything off and helped us get it situated. The cake was just what I asked for and as you can see it went quick! The trays and trays of blueberry crumble with bowls of whipped cream were soo delicious.

Mountside Café hosted our rehearsal dinner and it was an absolute dream! From the moment we started planning, Katherine and Alice were so kind, helpful, and genuinely excited for us. The entire staff went above and beyond the night of the event—everyone was so welcoming and attentive, and it truly made the evening feel magical.
Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was—many had never been to Mountside before and are now planning to come back! The desserts were incredible, the café looked beautiful, and my dad is still raving about the coffee ☕
Mountside has always been our favorite coffee shop, but now it holds an even more special place in our hearts. We’re so grateful and can’t wait to keep coming back as a married couple!

We just had my baby shower at the Mountainside Bakery and Cafe and could not have had a more perfect venue! The charm of the house and the huge windows for sunlight to come in really brightened up a cold winter day. The team was so easy to work with and the food and desserts were absolutely delicious! All the baked products looked amazing and I had the banana bread with the special cream cheese topping , very nice, the English tea accented the bread..
