This diner had some of the most amazing home cooked food I’ve had in a long time! My husband and I enjoyed the coffee to the fullest, and Tammy was just truly amazing. Talk about amazing customer service deliveryshe rocked and held the entire diner down due to the other waitresses being sick! We truly enjoyed our time.

The atmosphere could use some updating. It definitely has old diner vibes stuck in the 80s. Which could be fine without the stained ceiling tiles that give you the ick feeling.

I had breakfast at the Mountainhome Diner yesterday and it was a perfect diner breakfast. I indulged in a tasty scrapple and egg breakfast, while my cohort had a delicious omelette. Good coffee and a really nice waitress. Fair price to boot.

Best breakfast I’ve ever had while traveling! The food was fresh! I had the Greek omelet and it was delicious! You could tell the eggs were actually fresh! Everything including the coffee and buttered toast was delicious! Very clean and had that small town diner appeal! And the staff was friendly and very attentive! Never had to ask for a coffee refill! We will make this our breakfast spot whenever we’re visiting or passing through!

That was the best breakfast I have ever had. I never write reviews but I needed to say something. I got the deluxe breakfast with sausage and eggs and strawberry whipped cream waffles with coffee. It was amazing. The best part though was Jackie who seemed to know exactly what I was thinking the whole time. She noticed the sun was in my eyes at one point and lowered the blinds, knew when the coffee was low- she was just very attentive and I felt really taken care of. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to the Mountainhome Diner. It is an amazing place and I will definitely be coming back.

Wow talk about great service with great food. This is the pace for you!!! The spinach pie is awesome. It’s a great size and very tasty. It also comes with a small Greek salad. The service is fast and friendly. They treat you liike family. The finer has been around since 1955. It’s a great local place if your in the Poconos I highly recommend this place.

What a delightful stop. My wife and I stopped for breakfast after an overnight stay at Mount Airy Casino. We were very pleasantly greeted at the door and seated. Drink orders came out immediately as did our food. Food was hot and well cooked and is comparable to other 4 star diners. What separates this diner from others is the friendliness. My wife and I have never been here before but we were made to feel welcome. Our server Christina made us feel like we were part of her family. After we left my wife discovered that she had left her bag behind at this diner. We called and they had it waiting for her at the front counter. I would not hesitate to return and I highly recommend this diner if you are in the area and especially if you were visiting Mount Airy. Save yourself from a 45 dollar breakfast there and visit Mountainhome Diner instead. You won’t be disappointed.

Nice family dinner with good food and wonderful staff, Iwas in the diner on Thursday and my credit cards and ID etc clip fell out of my pocket.O went home realize I lost it, gave them a call no problem they found it and held it till I got back this morning and had another delicious breakfast and they kindly returned my ID etc.
