The sparkling wine is amazing.
First, there is an advertisement of 50% off of food during happy hour (Tuesday through Thursday, 3 – 6pm). My party and I ordered several paninis to try. I am flabbergasted on the pricing and what we received. Charging 18 dollars for the Italian panini is absolutely unacceptable. The paninis are very small and have very little ingredients and come with just a bag of chips. Even at 9 dollars, it felt expensive. I cannot imagine paying full price for what we received. We did receive a complimentary whipped feta plate, which was really yummy, so I feel like the appetizers are worth exploring more. When we attempted to check out, we were charged full price for our food, and had to spend several minutes getting the happy hour discount applied, which was quite awkward.
Second, wine and cocktails come in plastic, disposable cups. Same for a glass of water. That is absurd in 2025 – I want my drink to be in a glass, and if there is a need for disposable, it should NOT be plastic.
Third, we were the only party there, it felt like we were almost intruding by being present? We sat outside as we had dogs, but we did not receive much service and needed to order drinks inside. That is fine, but then drinks took a while. There was also very little beer available, despite it being listed on their menus. We had two separate checks going on in our party of four, and multiple drinks were put on both checks, which I would be more understanding of if it was busy!!!! But it wasn’t.
Fourth, the internal layout of the building is really strange. That can’t be helped I am sure, but a good decoration re-do with lots of direction on going to the patio would be helpful, as you have to pass the bathrooms/staff office to go outside. Signage would do WONDERS.
Overall, I likely won’t go back, just due to how weird and overpriced it was. I bet it’s better to go during live music in the evenjngs, but, if a brewery is going to advertise happy hour, they should be prepared for a party of four at 3:30 in the afternoon.
I tried the Parley’s Perry, it was sweet and crisp. The pear flavor was great. My favorite was the Sweet Alice. I love peach and the turmeric is so good with it! Both ciders were the best I’ve ever had because they were not overly sweet like most ciders. I overheard some of a tour by who I assume is the owner, and was absolutely fascinated with the couple of facts I learned. Im not usually into that kind of thing but I may contact them about a tour in the future because it looked and sounded so interesting! I was able to see where they make the ciders through the windows inside comfortable wooden booths. The inside is small but has bar and table seating. There is a great view of where the magic happens in the brewery.
