Amazing food, attentive, friendly service in a beautiful rustic lodge setting with the best views in town. It has a log cabin feel and the wood burning fireplace is warm and cozy. This place is a gem!

We were just in the area and saw this spot across the street and decided to have lunch here! We were seated pretty quickly. The menu was a good size, not too big to where you’re looking at it for ages, and not too small to where there aren’t many options. We got the house burger with battered fries and the turkey club with coleslaw. My husband LOVED the burger, and the fries were delicious! The turkey club was the best I’ve ever had! The bread was toasted perfectly, the veggies were fresh, the bacon was crispy but still a little tender, and they applied a hefty amount of turkey. SO AMAZING! Oh gosh and I haven’t even gotten to the coleslaw yet, incredible. Just perfect I forgot to take pictures of the food(cause it was just that good) but here’s some of the interior. Really liked the atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area!

Amazing to have the best trout dinner I have ever had in a town of 117! Sides were also phenomenal: broccolini, carrots, mashed potatoes. We ate at the bar and the service there was phenomenal. Loved the ambiance. Stanley Idaho is a treat not to be missed!

Overall, great experience. Was there for both breakfast and dinner, everything pretty good definitely try the fried pickles and the cheese balls. Also recommend the steak Frites country fried steak and the Philly cheesesteak special they had when we were there. Hash is good. Cinnamon roll is to die for, biscuits and gravy just decent. Bar next-door is also super relaxed atmosphere.

Great food and service. I got the Nachos and daily Gyro special. Word for the wise, if you are absolutely feeling famished, you should definitely get one entree at a time haha. The serving size is massive! Two entrees can definitely feed a family of four, but it was only two of us and we walked out with super stuffed bellies!

We spent the night at the lodge and had dinner and breakfast. Dinner I had the hamburger with tater tots . The burger was so greasy the bun was totally wet. The tots tasted old. I ate about 4 tots and 2/3 of the burger. For breakfast I had biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs over easy, bacon and fried potatoes. The biscuits were old, the gravy was so so but not much flavor, the bacon seemed to have been cooked early and maybe even the morning before, the potatoes were burnt black so burnt I wouldn’t have feed them to my dog.
I have been going here for over 30 years and they should be ashamed to put food like that on the table. Not once did the waiter ask if everything was good. It really doesn’t take much skill to make a burger or breakfast really. I guess when your the only game in town you van serve bad food and charge a lot for it. I would be happy to come and fix the mess you have.

My wife and I came up to Stanley on an overnight trip with to decompress from a very long and difficult year.
Josh was the only employee in the front of the restaurant seating people, taking orders, delivering the food clearing tables and was patient and added worth while suggestions all with a smile and pleasant demeanor.
The food was fantastic good portions and very tasty. So easy to over eat.
It was a magnificent way to start our evening and I would recommend it to anyone even passing through Stanley to stop and enjoy the food and experience

Cozy mountain restaurant with great ambiance. Bartender was attentive, friendly, and carried on a nice conversation. Owner was incredibly kind and also very friendly. Food was great and came out quickly. Would recommend to anyone passing through Stanley.

Stopped by for some breakfast as we passed through Stanley. I got the breakfast sandwich while my husband got the chicken fried steak. The portions were pretty generous. Enough for me to have the other half for lunch. The food was delicious and the mimosas were the best I believe I’ve ever had. We can’t wait to go back again later this summer. We even had to buy one of their cute coffee mugs. Highly recommend! Also the views are spectacular!
