Top notch home style comfort food that tastes like it was made in your mother’s kitchen. Big portions that are easy to finish because the food is so delicious. The prices are a bargain compared to other area eateries that serve high quality food. Friendly and amazing bartender / server that dished up great suggestions and drinks. The baked potato fries are unique and seasoned perfectly. The potato salad; probably the best I’ve ever tasted. Another hidden gem in the hills.

We were treated like kings at the restaurant! We stumbled on this place via reviews. It Surpassed all the positive discussion. The food was wonderful. We were impressed with the lengthy menu and specials. The waitress was very kind and made suggestions based on our input. It’s a great night.
The building is historical, built in the 1800s they still use the original bar and the floor is also original. Don’t forget to try a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

This restaurant was recommended to us by other restaurant’s owner in neighborhood and we didn’t regret at all! The food and portions were amazing, the view from terrace breathtaking, the service quick and friendly and the owner was very welcoming and interesting person. We enjoyed our stay and will be definitely back!

This place was awesome we sat out on the patio in the evening just beautiful atmosphere. I had the French dip it was so tender and delicious the best ever in my whole life the horseradish sauce was delicious. My partner had the fried chicken so, so yummy!!! The young girls working where kind and very beautiful personal people. We are going back for sure I heard Sunday chicken and biscuits are the bomb.

I have had lunch and dinner here. Their prime rib is delicious! The wait staff is efficient and courteous. I’ve never had an unreasonable wait time for my food to come out. I would recommend giving this place a try!

My girlfriend and I were cruising thru the area and decided to stop at Mountain View Inn based on its Google reviews. I’m so glad we did. They advertised a new chicken sandwich with Sriracha and pickle slaw for dinner. We were there during lunch, but the kitchen was nice enough to make it for me. OMG. It was the best chicken sandwich I ever had! So much flavor with a bit of heat. French fries tasted fresh cut. Service was very good. My girlfriend had a bacon cheeseburger and she loved it. This place is a hidden gem and worth the drive for. We plan on going back to try their dinner menu. Thank you folks for making our day!!
