Mountain tap is a great bar with great bar food. We were pleasantly welcomed by Tiffany who was working the bar that day. We got a little bit of everything off the menu. Food was on point and had lots of flavor. The Greek items were great. The fried platter we got was perfect for 2. Hats off to Tiffany and the kitchen for a great lunch. Definitely recommend if your looking for a cool bar with great eats.

Although, we did wait a long time to get the food, it was pretty good. Looks like others were getting their orders pretty fast, so perhaps my mileage was an exception.
I ordered a chipotle avocado burger, and it was pretty much what I expected.

We sat for 20 minutes or more before anyone even came by our table, a table I bussed and cleaned.
It took another 15 minutes and me tracking down the waitress to place our order. Another 30 minutes later our food arrived, with my order being incorrect.
We were there for a bday party so yes, it was busy. The bar was aware of the party, though, so no surprise for them. They were I’ll prepared to offer any service or prepare food timely.
We were not impressed.

I’ve been here on multiple occasions. For local djs, pool, and darts, this bar definitely can be a vibe. I came here for food the other day and simply put, surprised by how delicious it was! The special of the day was a homemade meatball grinder, and that was most delicious. Also am a fein fein when it comes to meatball grinders, and this one Is on the top favorites. Buffalo Wrap, also a steller choice. Definitely drop by for food and drinks here. Cheers

Mountain Tap has the best wood fired pizza in Steamboat. They have fresh ingredients and and of course amazing brewed beer. It’s always amazing going a block or two off the Main Street in any town to find some tru gems.

Great space with a great atmosphere. I ordered the nachos which were huge and delicious. The bartender was friendly and very attentive. There is a lot to do…pool, darts, various games. I’m definitely going to recommend it to my job for a holiday party!

Go for beers but avoid it for dinner. The hardest part is actually getting someone to wait on you. I had to tell the bartender that we were seated. And he still didn’t come over. Another couple sat down in a booth, waited for 10 minutes, never got served and finally left. It’s a shocker that the owner lets it happen and that they still serve food. Some guy came to our table finally and asked if we needed anything but never came back. He was more interested in drinking with the other patrons than taking care of us. Kind of pathetic because the food isn’t half bad.
