We absolutely loved celebrating our daughter’s birthday here with a tea party. The food was delicious, and the tea selection was good —our teas were very aromatic and flavorful. The thoughtful kids’ setting made our girls feel like little princesses. Service was great, very kid-friendly, and they even surprised us with a birthday cake! A wonderful experience all around.

We ordered hot chocolate and s’mores and were served the hot chocolate in disposable to-go cups, with no napkins or utensils provided. When we asked for plates, only one plate was brought for a table of five. After specifically requesting utensils and napkins, they were delivered stacked on top of a small plate, as if basic table service was an afterthought. This level of service was careless, unprofessional, and completely misaligned with what one expects from a large hospitality group.

What should be a refined experience is instead chaotic and poorly orchestrated. The staff appear well-intentioned but clearly overwhelmed. Both the savory and sweet pastries are absolutely subpar and would struggle to impress even at a mid-tier hotel. And what’s up with the glaring absence of welcome champagne/sparkling cider?
For St. Regis, I expected an experience benchmarked against Claridge’s or the Peninsula. This falls nowhere near that standard. Calling the overall experience mediocre would be generous.

Experience not worthy of the St Regis brand. Complete lack of service, ended up leaving after a half hour of waiting. Had been last year and had a much better experience, not sure what happened. Many, many better places for food / drink in Aspen

Stopped by the Mountain Social Bar & Lounge within the St Regis for a drink, unfortunately, this establishment wasn’t opened yet for business that day. I will say that the bar/lounge is beautiful and would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a high-end drink/cocktail experience within the town of Aspen.
