First time at the restaurant, classic breakfast place. Coffee was strong and good. Service was good for as busy as it was, could have used a refill at least once on the coffee. Breakfast burrito was very good, big portions. Pancakes were light, fluffy, and done very well. Worth a stop.

One of our go to spots. Cinnamon rolls are so delicious but, you better get there early before they are gone. Chicken fried steak and eggs is no disappointment either (my go to). Country biscuit is real good as well, matter of fact, I heard it being ordered like 4 times when we were there. Roast beef sandwich is so delicious, my wife is a picky eater and she loves it. BLT turkey wrap with fries is delicious as well. Just remember, this food is cooked to order so have patients.

I will start by saying I’m a little biased being from the south, but I got excited when I read they were voted “Best biscuits and gravy” back in 2015. I don’t know what has changed since then but it was far from the best. The biscuits themselves were really good, but they use sausage balls made for pizza and all they do is drop some handful of these sausage ball/chunks into white gravy… the sausage was chewy and tasted boiled when it should have been fried separately and added in. Super super disappointing and I have to believe it’s because it’s a cost thing and it’s cheaper to get these premanufactured sausage balls. The rest of the food was quality and I’d probably go back again but just wouldn’t order Biscuits and gravy again.

We loved the view of the mountains as we sat outside got a late breakfast. Staff is so nice and accommodating, the food was fantastic and plentiful! Every aspect was so good. The giant cinnamon roll (we had a half order for two diners and it’s plenty), the huevos rancheros and a traditional breakfast. Juice tasted fresh squeezed, coffee was good. The strawberry jam was homemade, as everything is there, and just delicious. Highly recommended.

We chose this place because of the pictures of the giant cinnamon roll. Didn’t know it had been on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives until we got inside. Not a large restaurant. Seats just above 50 people inside. Reminds me of an old house that was converted into a restaurant. Love the decor inside.
We got one of the cinnamon rolls and it WAS giant! We took more than half of it home so we could eat our other food. This is a MUST try. They do half orders as well.
I got the porky pig omelette and my husband had to alamosa omelette. So delicious! Everything was absolutely incredible. The jelly they serve with the toast was so good we were licking our fingers.
A MUST visit again when we come to this area. Can’t wait to come back again.

Average, at best. While the food was meh, it was more reminiscent of what you would expect from a Denny’s or Ihop. I think those two options may even be a bit better. Frozen hash browns, scrambled eggs and a chicken fried steak with bland gravy. Everything was just so bland and boring. The tables are very tiny and don’t have room for everyone’s plates. The tables are also extremely close to one another so you will be very intimate with the table next to you. It’s not cozy, it’s very uncomfortable. Mountain Shadows has their giant cinnamon roll going for them, (which is very delicious), but that’s all they have going for them. Much better breakfast options exist in the Springs.

Excellent food and the service was outstanding. We were a group of four for lunch and arrived around one. The restaurant closes at 2. We did not feel rushed or that we were getting the left overs.

Everything was served hot and fresh. The wait staff were friendly and awesome. We will be back again with other friends.

Walked here to grab a bite to eat. I’ve never been to this place before. It kind of gives you cute café vibes. The food I had was amazing, the service was great, and everyone I talked to there was super nice! I’ll definitely be going back here again sometime!

This is my husband’s favorite breakfast place. So every time we come to town of course we have to have breakfast here at least once on our trip. It’s got a funky little vibe. This is the place that the locals come too. And we never mind waiting however today we did not have any weight which was extra sweet. The food always comes out hot and delicious. It’s in an old house that has been converted into a restaurant. This place is also been on Diners; Drive-Ins n Dives on The Food Network…..if you find this review helpful, please give me a thumbs up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very nice cozy local b-fast spot. We stopped for breakfast after reading lots of reviews and it was a perfect choice.
