Good food and good people! The best “Penny” poppers west of the Mississippi, get the large serving! They use local flour for the pizza. The beer and wine are on demand with your wrist band. Don’t forget to Give the mascot some love! The bathroom with the keg urinal

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve had my fair share)! Large menu and reasonable prices. We enjoyed the quick service and outdoor patio seating. I had the 9” Hawaiian Cowboy and let me tell you, I still dream about this pizza. Tons of toppings and the crust is perfectly cooked (no flop). Can’t wait to go back!

Neat place with lots of choices. Get THE DUBLINER STAMPEDE!!! The owners own creation. So good and so different but in a good way. So good we prefer a second to take with us.

Good pizza, but one of the greasiest we’ve ever had. Had. Also, the garlic bread was not worth it and it was cold in the middle. We thought the prices were a little high, but we still give it four stars overall.

I definitely cannot recommend eating here. I ordered a calzone, and got a long BLACK Hair on it. When they “remade” it, it came back, overcooked and the black from the oven all over it. It was like eating sand.
The pizza was the same way on the bottom. Black gritty chunks all over it.
Then they told another customer that we picked up their garlic knots because they apparently hadn’t made theirs.
Definitely disappointed.

Frankly, I was insulted to have paid $27 for a six-slice “Detroit-style pizza” and been served this slop. At first glance it looked right—crispy burnt cheese edges and sauce on top. But once I picked it up I realized the crust was made of layers of rolled-out dough stacked on top of each other and pressed down. What’s supposed to be a fluffy and light interior was instead a mess of dense, barely cooked through layers of flavorless dough. Even with good sauce (it was mediocre) and the right amount of cheese (there was too much) the crust still would have made this pizza inedible. I cannot speak to the quality of their thin crust pizzas. Maybe they’re fine. But this faux Detroit-style pizza is an abomination and should be taken off the menu ASAP if Mountain Pizza and Taproom has any respect for their customers.

Let me start off by saying this our 2nd visit to Mountain fire pizza, the first maybe 3 years ago. Since then things have changed and not for the good.
Ordering:
You order your pizza via a kiosk, which I didn’t mind, but we had questions with ordering 1/2 and 1/2 pizza. There 4 people behind the counter, one ignored us as we were struggling to figure it out, the second one had to the manager and manager was only somewhat helpful.
Beer/wine tap:
You open a tab, which again is no problem, but while my husband was able to get beer, the Sangria dispenser was not working. We asked for assistance, one said he didn’t know, the other said he would get the manager. The manager looked over and said ok, but she never came to assist. Today was my birthday and I wanted a couple glasses of wine with my pizza. No luck.
Pizza:
Lack luster at best for $25 pizza, sloppy and the ingredients were just thrown on there.
Customer Service:
Non existent!
Flies:
Everywhere in the restaurant.
Needless to say we will not patronize this place again. If you want pizza , as I did, do yourself a favor and order Dominos!! By the way I don’t like dominos.

The Manager, Ben let us bring a bag of vegan cheese as they were out. Pizza turned out amazing, especially the crust! My wife ask Ben to make up some veggies with marinara saucer. He did not disappoint! Was very yummy!
He said he was a chef since he was born and would love to whip up a dish!

Hate to say it but this place was pretty disappointing. It was filthy. Dust caked on the napkin holders, had to wipe off my own table.
They were not even that busy and it was dinner time. They had like 20 beer taps but only 5 were working and when I went to pour my beer it didn’t even fill up all the way. My husband tried getting a cream soda/ root beer but all that poured out was foam.
He ordered a GF pizza which was pretty decent. I ordered a supreme and the pizza dough was still raw. They also put wayyy too many toppings on which is probably why the dough didnt get cooked all the way. The bottom of the pizza had charred black bits on the bottom which to me indicates that the oven doesn’t get cleaned maybe as much as it should. It has a great location and was honestly expecting more. Probably won’t come back. Service in general was pretty sub par as well.

This was a great stop for a good bite to eat with our kiddos. We sat on the covered patio and it sprinkled some but not a lot, The kids loved playing in the rain while waiting for their pizza! They had someone playing beautiful music and the food was surprisingly good! We got the Hawaiian cowboy and I might say it might be my new favorite way to have pizza Kids had pizza and nuggets and fries.
