Hands down our worst dining experience while traveling. Kiosk style ordering while staff sequestered behind a tall counter offering no assistance. No effort to hand you glasses for drinks, help you sort out the service, like that’s my job? Missed a pizza on the order. Served a dirty gluten free pizza (see photo). Mgr said he would adjust the bill but didn’t. Do not order the gluten free. It is totally cross contaminated. There is no attempt to treat the pizza otherwise. Robots could have delivered better service. Ugh. When I showed the mgr the bottom of my pizza he shrugged and said that’s just burnt stuff in the oven. Nasty.

The manager was having a bad day and was just not interested in anything but fixing the beer wall that was broken. We have family that has lived in the area for 30 years who wanted us to try it out. With quality management this spot has great potential as they did use quality ingredients. The other staff was trying hard but had no support. My pizza was cold from sitting and when I asked the manager said ” I am busy on the phone and don’t care if your pizza is ready as my beer wall is broken”. As I watched the staff struggle it was easy to see that they were demoralized and had been impacted by the negative attitude from the boss. We arrived at 11:30 to beat the lunch rush and at the start had 1 other order ahead of us. Three medium pizzas’ ordered after us all were given to the guests eating at the restaurant prior to the two large pizzas I purchased that were provided after a 40 minute wait that no one else had. I will not share a picture of the pizza as I want you to avoid eating here. But to be fair I was happy to see them offer a veterans discount. And I liked the layout and concept. The other warning for dog owners is that it is not a dog friendly patio. Look at my photo of her after she snapped at me and her attitude should be obvious for all to see. All she had to say was let me check on that, oh I see it sitting right here. I will have someone grab it for you now. The mean rudeness was not called for and earned her this detailed review. It was clear she wanted us to wait and did not care in any way. We were at no time rude and planned to eat here again and have a beer. Maybe it will be better for you but with her attitude I doubt it.

First time to Mountain Pizza. I’ve been to Pagosa Springs for years and always passed the place but never stopped in. This time, we made it our first location once we got to town. Really good pizza, people are super friendly, and service was excellent. Had a local musician playing, wasn’t bad but a little loud when trying to enjoy the pizzas and your friends’ conversation. Beers on tap were good and a nice selection to choose from.

Nice friendly staff, well done thin pizza with crunchy corners. Thin crust pizza had crust folded under the bottom to give balloon crust but it was crunchy and yummy.

I was starving when I found this place and so glad that I did. Pizza was amazing, a bit greasy but so flavorful! It’s thin crust, which is perfect! You place the order yourself on a touchscreen but I was confused so one of the girls helped me. Wish I caught her name because she was very accommodating. I was in line for the bathroom and she told me my pizza was ready and she could hold it for me until after I was done using the bathroom. Finally got my pizza and took it outside. I was on a road trip so I was just passing through, but next time I’m in Pagosa Springs, I’m definitely going to stop here again!

Good pizza and cool place. Beer wall is cool but be careful cause you get one pull, if it’s all foam/ head that’s it. Unless you buy another.

Great casual atmosphere. We ate a cheese pizza, make your own calzone, garden salad and Detroit style pizza, all were delicious! A little slow on the service but all friendly.

Delicious pizza! Came out fast! Nice staff! The dining room is kind of small, and it was very warm in the summer. The patio was perfect for us in the shade. We ate early evening before going to the hot springs, but on our way back through town we saw live music on the patio.
