My husband and I love a good pie and are always on the lookout for better than the average pie. The apple pie we bought at the Mountain Pie Company was the worst pie we have ever eaten.. We paid $37 for the pie and didn’t even get mediocre. The gentleman who sold me the pie said it was apple, carmel and walnuts. The apples were far and few between. Carmel? Couldn’t taste any of that. There were so many walnuts on the top of the pie that is all one could taste. They were not the freshest of nuts either. The bottom crust was soft and mushy. We threw the entire pie away after tasting it. Wont be going back there again.

The decor is Country/Victorian. It’s nice and cozy. Breakfast was good. Fruit and a piece of pound cake is added to all breakfast orders. The service was okay. Female (one of the owners I think) that serve me was a bit condescending and grouchy. Overall, I would give the place a C plus.
