Out in the middle of nowhere and can be a bit hard to find, but the scenery on the drive from Denver alone is worth it. Hard to accurately judge the service as the place was not busy. The joint is family-owned and that has advantages and drawbacks. The menu is simple and straightforward, prices are a little on the high side, and the portions are the right size.

We were on our way somewhere else and just happened to find this gem of a restaurant. It has a great vibe, view of the mountains and the food was excellent. We had green chili, which I have never seen in restaurants in the Eastern states, and the Caesar salad was topped with a wonderful breaded crispy chicken. The prices were incredibly good, especially for the portions and quality of the food. I’d go back there again for sure!

This is the only place on our trip that we stopped twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. The second stop we actually detoured from our planned route to hit it up again. Do not miss out on the sausage gravy, best I’ve ever had.

We really enjoyed our breakfast this morning. Jatin was our server and he was beyond attentive. In the past the new Mountain Peak Cafe’s service was not as good. I had the bagel and my wife had the breakfast burrito.
We will be back more often now!

We’re locals, & we’re delighted to have a great breakfast/brunch spot again. We particularly like that husband can get b’fast & I can get lunch at the same time. Eggs Benedict excellent, turkey club also excellent, but soooo much bread. I took out the middle layer. Every table in & out was occupied, but service was still pretty good. We got drinks right away, & Desh checked in regularly. We’ll definitely be back.

Loved the feel of the place. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was great. Much better than my wife and I expected. If we are ever in the area again, we’ll be sure to stop by.

We stopped at this restaurant during our scenic peak-to-peak drive. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the wooden seating, and especially the fresh donuts – the kids loved them.

Great local Nederland place. The breakfast burrito is great. Love the pork green chili. Sorry about the picture. I was half way through gobbling it down when I realized I needed a pic.

A breakfast place is back!
Love the updated space, this place has gone through a few businesses. The food was good, I recommend the Benedict. They JUST opened so be patient with service and etc. and wait times may be longer than expected.
The menu is a bit chaotic to look at but has a choose your own adventure vibe.
The patio is great on a nice day as well.
