We’ve been staying in Paonia for three weeks and I’m so sad we just got pastries from here for the first time today. They are SO good. We ordered online because I thought they might sell out but when I arrived a little before 9 am on Friday there was a lot in the case, including a lot that wasn’t in the online store! So I bought more Seriously delicious. Will be back next week for sure!

Such an amazing bakery! Had so many different baked goods and we are so glad we happened to stop by on Friday morning (were only visiting for the weekend) since apparently they are only open on Friday (and maybe one other day per week?) which this Google page doesn’t reflect currently. We got several different pastries and a curry breakfast burrito and all were good!

Gluten-free peanut butter cookie was $2.75 and tasted like sugary sawdust. Completely fell apart. Oatmeal cranberry way too sweet but at least it held together. Would not buy either one again.

What a curious treat! First off, everything we had was good to great (scones, Danish, bread) and I say this with the full bread authority vested in me by my German upbringing ;). Better even: the shop was open but nobody was there. Honor system in a bakery … if that doesn’t make you believe in humanity again, nothing will. So glad we stopped by!

They have a pop-up on Fridays from 8-11 A.M. Do not miss it! We ordered a couple of the savory tarts, black raspberry, danish and the honey sourdough cinnamon roll. We were very impressed.!

We’re so lucky to have an incredible bakery in our little town. Every Friday morning we look forward to walking down and deciding what we want for our weekend breakfasts, desserts, and fresh bread for the week!

The pastries are really good if you get them immediately after they’re made. If it’s even a couple hours later, they’re as dry as cardboard. They’re especially bad if you buy them from the case at one of the grocery stores in crested butte. I get not wanting to put preservatives in them but they’re super expensive and usually also super dry unless you get them the second the booth opens at the farmers market.

I came across this bakery at the Crested Butte farmer’s market yesterday and couldn’t believe how stunning the array of breads and pastries was! I picked up a loaf of French white sourdough and four different pastries and they’re all delicious. I especially loved the berry and cheese danish. The pies and bagels also looked amazing. I’ll definitely seek this place out next time I’m in the area!

We got the sourdough French and country along with croissants at Crested Butte farmers market. So fresh and tender and the fresh milled grains give the bread a sweetness. Please support this farmer co-op movement!!

Mount oven is absolutely amazing! They have extremely high-quality bread and pastries. I picked up a bulk order of breakfast burritos today and couldn’t be happier. Thank you very much!
