the shrimp pad Thai and bibimbap were phenomenal we had the crab Rangoon as a starter and they were fresh and crispy! The service was amazing and quick! Overall 10/10 experience here and will be back the next time we visit!

This restaurant is excellent! Every item on the menu is delicious, perfectly prepared, and memorable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and comfy. The staff is so friendly and always goes the extra mile to ensure we have the perfect meal. My family and I have totally enjoyed our visits here and we will certainly continue dining here as long as we’re in Newport, as we believe this is the best spot in town. Thank you to the staff, you’re doing an AMAZING job. I give Mountain Moose my highest recommendation! Outstanding!

Food was good, but portions are normal to small – compared to other similar spots.
The white mountain noodle was good for vegetarians.
There is no proper table service but they do bring food to the table.
You have a condiment station to fill things by yourself,
Take out boxes and water is also near this spot.
You have to drop the dishes to the trash station after eating.
I tipped them 15% but i wont the next time.

I would say this is probably the best spot in Newport for Asian food, nothing else compares. We arrived without a reservation and were easily able to get a seat. You order up front and grab your utensils once seated. Our food was good overall (excellent for Newport standards) and was definitely fresh. Would come back in a heartbeat since it’s one of the better options in the neighborhood.

I never realized it is possible to go wrong with Orange Chicken. The chicken looked and tasted like it died years ago; the dish itself had little taste. Ended up eating some rice and veggies. Definitely puzzled seeing a high rating for this place.

Excellent food! I went here a couple of weeks ago with my and my brother’s family. Everything we ordered was delicious. From the pot stickers to the crab Rangoon and the Beef Ramen, it all tasted incredible.
The atmosphere was calm and inviting. And wait staff was also very patient even though we were had a tired and fussy baby. Absolutely would come here again.

Mountain Moose is a fantastic place to get Asian food in Newport. We were craving Ramen and bao buns and this restaurant didn’t disappoint! Both the Ramen and bao buns were delicious with one person trying the double bun option with one beef and one chicken and another person ordering one bun with pork. All three were delicious and the peanut sauce that came with the chicken bun was ! One person in our group had the crab rangoons and said they were the best they’d ever eaten. The only reason I knocked off a star was because the person that was supposed to be taking orders was sitting outside on their phone, so we had to stand there and wait for quite a bit until they came back inside to take our order. Otherwise, they were very nice and the overall experience was great!
