Reviews
I’ll update the review if I ever get the pizza.

Ok, we’re back.
When we ordered using the app, we were quoted 75min – busy Friday, ok. When we hit 90mins I called the store. I was put on hold through the system for about 2mins, then someone picked up the phone, said “please hold” and put me back into the queue. I was on hold for 15 more minutes, then someone picked up the phone and clearly just set it on the counter. This lasted for about 5min and then my pizza showed up. I hung up after 20mins without talking to a “team member”.
Driver was friendly and thanked me for the tip (by the sound of it, the drivers definitely deserve it).
Pizzas were good! Fairly standard California-style pizza. They were baked to order (well done, as per notes). Toppings were good, pepperoni was crisp.
Price, though… Expect prices 25-30% higher than Sahara. And at the end of the week, the pizza is just not good enough to justify that premium.
Also the app is worthless; that’s not a slight against this location, but it’s a huge frustration if you want to order delivery. The app is just an ordering portal and points wallet. In a day when most delivery apps tell you if your driver has their seat heaters on, it’s disappointing to throw an order into the wind and just hope it shows up.
It’s such a shame we lost Jet City. Mount Vernon has been a pizza desert ever since (only slightly unintentional pun that Sahara is the only other competition otherwise)
They were out of iceberg lettuce at the salad bar and the drink dispenser syrup for the root beer was apparently also gone because i ended up with a mouthful of carbonated water.
There were people waiting in line for more pizza and people either left or ordered a pizza. This is an extremely overproced place to have this bad of food and service. I will not be returning.
Nice place kids friendly
Very delicious pizza .
Fresh salad bar.
Brand new very clean.
THEY HAVE ARCADE GAMES FOR KIDDOS
Thanks
From the outside, everything looks great. Walking inside you’ll find a well laid out dining area that’s brightly lit and several TVs on the walls (I’m assuming for sports ). There were a handful of customers dining in with the majority of the table tops dirty (not gross, just not cleared/cleaned from previous diners). I’m assuming they either had a big unexpected rush or were short staffed for the evening.
Ordering was pretty quick & easy. Gal at the counter was polite but fairly neutral. We ordered a small Pikes Peak (all meat combo) and an order of the Loaded Mountain Fries.
I’m guessing the kitchen was slammed with online orders because it took almost 30 minutes for us to get our food. Pizza came out first. Looked pretty good. It came to us pretty warm (but didn’t seem HOT with that great cheese pull that you look forward to with a good pizza). It was tasty though. Hubs liked the sauce & meat. Cheese was ok; nothing notable. Crust was chewy with some crunch at the edges.
The “loaded mountain fries” came out about 5 minutes after the pizza. What a major disappointment! To start, they’re Not fries. They’re those weirdly seasoned potato wedges like the Safeway Deli serves. Secondly, my order was waaaay overcooked to the point the cheese was burnt & crunchy on the edges and the center overcooked dry cheese gluing the wedges together. The bacon, what little I could see, was also so overcooked I almost chipped a tooth. I tried to eat what I could, which amounted to about 4 small wedges and even they were so dry it took several sips of water assist in swallowing them.
All said, it was a “meh” experience. The pizza was alright. We might try it again if we find ourselves out/about in the area, but it’s not a Destination Location we’ll purposely seek out.
Oh and they were happy to accommodate a party of 30 last minute.
