I do not recommend the wings, we asked for the buffalo and they had no sauce on them. Just the coloring of the wing and that all. As well they were very very small. Size of a finger.
2 small pizzas, 6 piece wings and 2 fountain sodas for almost $55
I was excited to try the new Mountain Mike’s in Salem after seeing their commercial, which shows pizzas generously covered in pepperoni. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the marketing. My pizza had large areas with only cheese and no toppings, and the crust was thick, heavy, and hard to enjoy. The sauce was just average at best — nothing memorable.
The wings, however, were the biggest letdown. They were soggy, spongy, and lacked any crispness or flavor. With Wingstop right next door, I strongly suggest skipping Mountain Mike’s wings entirely.
Overall, the food didn’t live up to the hype, and I probably won’t be coming back.
The pizzas are very good with the crust being a combo of a thicker dough with a cracker-like crunchy bottom. Their bbq chicken pizza is one of the best and their variety on their buffet is good.
The price is very reasonable for the buffet and is the weekly favorite spot for my family.
Highly recommended!
I will be going back for sure!
