So I finally made it here today. Looking to get really good food but I was surprised instead. The food tasted good, the Cliff Hanger with salami sandwich. It’s supposed to be loaded but I don’t think so. No lettuce, I guess a problem with lettuce, good thing I like spinach and no mayo either. The real problem is their restroom, it’s leaking near the faucet and the toilet doesn’t flush easily. The store needs help. I still need to try their pizza but I didn’t want to order that today since it’s just me.

I had the pleasure of dining at Mountain Mike’s Pizza recently and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their food and service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal.
The pizza itself was delicious. The dough was perfectly fluffy – almost like a brioche, yet crispy on the bottom. The tomato sauce was flavorful, rich yet light. I especially enjoyed the pepperoni, which was crispy and flavorful – you know it’s a quality pepperoni when it curls upwards at the edges
Overall, had a great experience at Mountain Mike’s and would highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I tried this place for the first time today. We created our own pizza (a large one with 3 toppings – beef, onion and pepperoncini) and it was absolutely AMAZING! The crust was perfect, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. But the reason I’m writing this review is the guy at the counter. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch the name of the guy working the counter but he was super nice, friendly and thoughtful. He asked us if we also needed plates for our pick up order. You can tell he genuinely cares about his job and the customers. This has officially become our go-to spot whenever we’re craving pizza!

I haven’t had the chance to write about my last few visits so wanted to add all in one. But I again wanted to recognize the exceptional customer service provided by Miles during my past few visits. Again he went above and beyond to ensure everything was fresh and always made sure we had exactly what we needed during the lunch buffet. I don’t believe he is a manager or assistant manager but I hope it is soon! I enjoy visiting this location, and I’m looking forward to my next visit as always and seeing Miles!

Firstly, I’d never heard of Mountain Mike’s Pizza before they opened up closest to me in Pasadena and Rosemead. This chain only came out here about a month ago. So, when I entered Mountain Mike’s Pizza Pasadena today it was my first time ever eating at this restaurant. They can be compared to Shakey’s except better.
From Mondays through Fridays, there is a “buffet” option available 11 AM until 2 PM. I came in for that. What they don’t tell you, though, is that the “buffet” barely consists of a few different types of salad and pizza options, plus churros and potato wedges. It’s not a full-scale buffet.
Prior to coming in, I’d read reviews online stating Mountain Mike’s Pizza is pretty much frozen level. I think even though the ingredients were fresh, something was just missing. Their food didn’t have that “bang” I was looking for. The pizza dough was so, so soft.
I also got some plain chicken wings. The flavor existed, but the size didn’t. They were tiny. Those wings just tasted soggy, nothing else.
Still, at $23 it’s hard to find anything you can get in Pasadena for this price, much less a buffet. I think it’s usually cheaper without wings.
Like another reviewer mentioned, their toilet doesn’t flush, either.
Probably wouldn’t return unless someone else wanted to and I was with them.

I came to this Mountain Mike’s location for the lunch buffet and I will definitely be back. It was so affordable!
A few of my favorites were the Everest, garlic knots, ham & pineapple.
Even got some extra boneless wings (honey garlic and sticky kogi) on the side and they hit the spot.
Staff are also great, they came around several times if we needed help with anything.
An added bonus is the availability of parking.

There is a Mountain Mike’s Pizza in the small town where I’m from and they were always known as the best pizza in town with a very unique taste and great quality. I’ve lived in Hollywood for a few years and every now and then I would get the craving for Mountain Mikes but the closest one happens to be THIS one which is about a 30 mile drive (there and back) which was a bit of a journey for me so I’ve held off, mostly just waiting for an excuse to be in the area anyways so I could stop by. However, the beginning of January I had received advertisements for their buffet which was only $14.99 for all you can eat pizza. For my girlfriend Maria and I, that seemed like the best reason possible to hit the road. The first week of January we had decided to have a special little trip to this Mountain Mikes and it was unbelievable. The pizza tastes exactly how I remembered it from my hometown, unbelievably delicious with a variety of pizza to choose from for the buffet, with a salad bar and potato wedges to go on the side, THEN they also would bring out an unbelievable dessert pizza that tasted like a cinnamon roll but shaped like a pizza, it was remarkable to me that this was only $15. This buffet also includes fountain drinks which for me was just incredible because they had a Horchata soda fountain which I didn’t expect much from but it was actually some of the best Horchata I had ever had, I had to have consumed at least a gallon in my time there.
Already, you can see that this experience is just unbelievably amazing which is why I think you will be able to understand why Maria and I had decided to come back here every single week since then to enjoy it over and over again.
But the truth is that the best part of the experience wasn’t any of that, the best part came from Waldo and Jae who worked there every single day that Maria and I had came by. They were incredible and so friendly from the moment we came in the door, they were so nice and kind to everyone who came in EVERY single time and every single day we were there. They would talk with us and see how we were doing and just check in on us from time to time to make sure everything was perfect and it always was. They were even so kind as to check with us when there weren’t too many other customers and see if there was any kind of pizza we would like to request for them to add to the buffet. As nice as they were to us, it also made me so happy to see how they would interact with one another and the other employees, they’ve fostered a very friendly and open work environment for everyone involved that I believe is essential to making an incredible establishment.
They made the experience unforgettable and made Maria and I both agree that the only pizza we’ll ever be getting is from Mountain Mikes.
