We’ve been here a few times for lunch, and this place never disappoints! Great food, great service, superb atmosphere. Live music, and dog friendly. Nice view of the lake, the outdoor patio is a perfect place to just chill with a drink.

Stopped by on a whim and had a great experience! The server was very friendly and welcoming, and even though we just ordered a few appetizers, everything we had was really good.
The location is beautiful too, with a really nice outdoor area to sit and relax.
All in all, a great spot to stop by — definitely one of the high points of the area.

My husband and Iwere there today celebrating valentines day. At the beginning it was a little confused although we did reservation. We got on right time and the girl asked us to wait a couple of minutes at the bar. After 15 minutes, we asked her again and she promptly acomodated us on a table for fourpeople. We ordered our dinner and kindly they asked us to move to other table. We understood the busy night and managed it very nice. The menu is full of great choices. We had an enjoyable evening. Certainly we’ll come back.

Love. Me and husband’s first time here today, great find. Love the atmosphere private patio area overlooking the lake and especially dog friendly. The food was so good the southwest chicken egg rolls, ming wing pizza, and the mountain salad with grilled shrimp. We will be back again.

We sat in the bar area twice. They had a duet singing the first time. They were very good and not to loud. They had some winter drinks that I thought were fantastic. The waitress was extremely friendly and seemed happy to be there. The pretzel app is fantastic with sauces. I had the Ammo burger with egg corned beef and bacon. Delicious. Fries are good to. Nice menu, not overpriced, just enough selection to not overwhelm you. I will be back several times

We have been patronizing Mountain House for a few years. This restaurant has been consistent in providing quality food, attentive and cheerful service and for having an inviting atmosphere.
Last evening was no different. We ordered southwestern rolls, cuban sandwich and chilli. All the dishes were tasty. We were admiring the holiday decorations and the beautiful Christmas tree. We felt like we were in a friends country home. Thanks Mountain House for another wonderful dining experience. See you in the New Year.

We stopped here for lunch on the motorcylces. We all sat at the bar and ordered lunch … but we had to get by the cutest little bulldog (?) puppy first! She was a hit with all of the patrons! The place was very clean and I believe it was the owner or a manager walking around making sure everyone had what they needed … she was really friendly. We ordered the Cheesy Short Rib Fries to start and they were so yummy! I had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos and my husband had the Steak Tacos for our main meal. Everything was delicious!!! The drinks were poured perfectly and the bartender was on point! No complaints about this stop … hoping to get back there if we ever ride through NJ in the future!

Mountain house is a pet friendly restaurant with an unbelievable pet menu with many choices. Our Louie maltipoo loved his dinner. They have dog bowls available and immediately bring to your table without asking .
Five star service , views , and menu for both you and your furry friend.
