One of my favorite places to stop for a coffee and waffle before a long work day. Their liege waffles are amazing, and they always have creative and beautiful beverages. Staff here is always super welcoming and the vibe is . 100% of their profits support at-risk youth. Not every day you find a non-profit business like this. You won’t regret supporting them!

Stopped in while in town and Mountain Goat didn’t disappoint. Plenty of seating which is always great for coffee shops and fairly rare unfortunately. If you are a merch junkie they have you set here. Also plenty of stickers to choose from. My wife and I got a Mocha and a Vanilla Latte, both of which were solid and on par with our expectations. The staff were friendly and quick with making our orders. While I have no plans of being in Greenville regularly I can say I’d be up for coming back to Mountain Goat for another coffee stop.

We love this place! My wife and I have been amazed by the delicious coffees we have had there. It’s more like having a coffee experience to us! It has become our favorite go-to when we want to truly indulge our taste buds. My personal recommendation is The Lumberjack latte. It’s not always on the menu, but you can still order it. It’s lightly sweetened with pure maple syrup and topped with a sprinkling of some very special smoked salt of some kind. It’s incredible!!! I want to thank the very helpful manager who was like a skilled guide in selecting the right taste bud experience for me after asking me a few questions. She nailed it! And my wife got the Blackbird latte on her recommendation which was also amazing. I’ve included photos of both #1 Lumberjack, #2 Blackbird, and then #3 Strawberry Fields latte was another one we tried and liked.

Great find in Sans Souci area of Greenville. Coffee, tea, parfait, and waffles on this day. Waffles were outstanding now with a daily menu of great variations. Highly recommend. Also this is a nonprofit and all proceeds go to helping local children in need with bike repair and hikes and adventure. Check it out. Recommend for sure.

Mountain goat is a lovely coffee, beer, and bike shop. It offers great espresso, regional beer on tap, and an in house bike mechanic. They’ve also recently started making in house waffles and parfaits. The eclectic space is full of character and warmth. They also use the coffee shop to help fund and support a local nonprofit for the youth in the area. All in all a wonderful place to hangout.

Very friendly, accommodating staff and really well-made drinks. The space is well-lit with the front windows allowing for lots of natural light. Comfortable space, not cramped, and with seating options for groups of friends or individuals wanting to focus.
