$20.99 New year brunch. First meal of 2026! My kind of buffet. Stopped in for the first time bc buffets are my thing now. It was like stepping into a piece of home. The food seemed homemade, the pies homemade, the atmosphere the food, everything definitely gave it a homie feel, the GM made a bad ass, grilled cheese with corned beef and had a great server Jenny, who took very good care of clearing plates and was super sweet. It was a perfect dine in visit however, as we were checking out, the older gentleman at the cash register was not very pleasant and said “Could you please hurry and close out your check so I can close this ticket” which I thought was kind of rude when I was trying to figure out the tip, nonetheless, it was a great visit and will definitely come back.

I just can’t believe the negative reviews, though I suppose there could have been times the food was not great.
That is not what I experienced — it was simply fabulous.
This is an Amish restaurant. It had actual Amish people eating there.
The food on the buffet was fabulous, and perfectly represent how Amish food should be.

The food was questionable, the sliders tasted absolutely awful, the pretzel bites were extremely salty, the tater tots were greasy too. The cheesecake was sticky and the red velvet cake was dry and the frosting has a sour aftertaste. The Mac n cheese was store bought and you could see the box just sitting it the trashcan. The drinks were watered down and the ketchup was sour. The chefs weren’t wearing hair nets and the atmosphere was odd.

I had high expectations because I was told by relatives how good this place used to be. First time going, the waitress was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately that was the only good thing. Every single thing I got from the buffet was barely room temperature which immediately deterred me from wanting to eat any of it. I’m really not a picky eater at all but I do not mess with cold food from establishments. Food left out in open air for long periods of time at incorrect temperatures are breeding grounds for bacteria that causes food poisoning. The bread/ rolls were stale. Only had one bite of the meat because it had an odd taste. Shrimp was overcooked but still somehow just barely warm. Lo and behold, my boyfriend and his dad are both sick now from both ends. Do not recommend until they figure this out. Spent $111 and drove 40 minutes, there were four of us. Very disappointed.

I can’t believe we payed that much for food I couldn’t eat . The salad had a funny taste. How do tomatoes taste like bananas and the broccoli salad tasted old. The fried chicken was cold and gross. The pies are all store bought bad. They should be ashamed of their selves! Discusting!

Great server…buffet is the way to go? Don’t forget. You also get ice cream with a buffet, but they need to bring it out to you. It’s not on the food display and our server asked us if we wanted any…I asked if there was a charge, but she said no, that’s included in the price. bonus: it’s our local Turkey Hill ice cream. This is a great food deal make sure You don’t miss it traveling 15.

I really like to this restaurant. They have a really great buffet with an excellent variety of foods. They had a separate buffet table with desserts and a large selection of homemade delicious pies. If you find yourself in Thermont, Stop in and give it a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

We stopped here passing through the area. They appear to be very well known for the Buffet. We had a simple dinner waffles, a sandwich and pancakes. Very reasonably priced.
