Tried out this cute Japanese restaurant during our ski trip, and was totally blown away! The fish was unbelievably fresh, with that natural sweetness you can only get from top quality seafood. It ended up becoming one of the highlights of our entire trip and left us with such great memories. If you’re a fan of authentic Japanese cuisine, this spot is a must try!
P.S. they use fresh wasabi instead the paste from tubes! The flavor was on a whole different level.

My son and I had a wonderful experience at Mountain Flying Fish. He ordered the lunch special 3 rolls and I had the crispy veggie spring rolls. Excellent! The added bonus was a delicious (& new to their menu) Gingerita! If you want to enjoy a top level marg while having sushi, this is the spot! Thank you all for a wonderful meal.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Quality is just as good as sushi that I’ve had in Japan. So much selection of fish that’s hard to find in America. Even the more “basic” sushi like yellow tail and salmon blew me away. If you are in the area and looking for real Japanese sushi, you have to come here! I am looking forward to coming next year.

A Japanese gem hiding in the mountains! Amazingly fresh and meticulously prepared by Japanese sushi chefs. The best sushi I have had in the US at this price level. Menu is extensive, including sake options. Have gone back as often as I can since I discovered it.

Fish was incredibly fresh. Most people just say that but it genuinely was the best fish i’ve had in the U.S. Waitress said they do multiple shipments per week and that’s why it’s so expensive. Ended up paying $100 for two people which isn’t too bad for a high quality place like this. Place was clean and ambiance was nice. Will for sure come back.
