Took a day trip in our Miata MX-5 and somehow ended up here for lunch. The broasted chicken, broasted pork chops & homemade German potatoe salad were amazing. Small place in a tiny town but its the best I’ve had in a long time.

It was very warm in the bar and restaurant area. No A/C on. Drinks were reasonably priced. Food was good. Recommended by hotel staff to check out. They were able to accommodate a large group. It was slow but they did their best. Chatted with some locals so it was fine, other than being very warm inside.

Great service & food! This is my second time here & the food is great! The first time I had a amazing tenderloin sandwich & cream cheese rangoons. This time I had cod, perch & stuffed shrimp with cheese curds and Mac&cheese bites. The shrimp were huge and everything was absolutely amazing. Everyone I was with both times love their food and we will all be back. Also the waitress I had Friday night was over the top

The food was great. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries, with a mountain dew. The staff were nice, they were talking to me about different subjects. And making me feel welcome. I only seen like 4ppl there but it was the middle of the afternoon.

Our son just moved to Eland and suggested Mountain Bay bar for a fish fry, he said they were excellent! And let me tell you now, my son is NEVER wrong lol . The fish fry and appetizers were the bomb! First time visit after biking the MB trail. Chose this place off the reviews and was not disappointed. From the Old Fashioneds to the Fish Fry (recommend the Poor Mans), everything is made and served with a small town friendly feel. Don’t go if you are in a hurry…you shouldn’t be at a place like this anyway. Just relax, have a laugh and enjoy this piece of Americana!

Prices are reasonable, bartender and patrons were friendly. We had breaded mushrooms and beer battered cheese curds that were the bomb and of sufficient quantity. If I ever get this way again I’m stopping in.
