Great spot to stop. Prices good. Soups very good. Salad bar a bit small but very fresh. I ordered chicken patty special. My wife ordered a club burger. Unfortunately she said hers was very salty n mine was also. If i were to guess id say frozen processed. They could probably do fresh burgers n freeze n would be better and probably cheaper. But over all, food decent, Workers were all VERY nice. I will say this, they need a website bad. I will try to post pics of menue to help them out. Also bathroom well stocked n clean.

First time there tonight. Everything was excellent. The greeter was very cheerful. Our server was extraordinary.
The food was very good. The facility was clean and comfortable. My wife ordered from the senior menu and the portion size was unusually generous. Can’t say enough good about it. We’ll be back.

Friendly traditional diner experience. Comprehensive menu, generous servings, soup and salad bar. Homey small town feel. As of this writing, cash discount, free glass of wine with dinner. [I don’t drink, so no comment on the wine. I believe it to be Sangria.]

Good prices, decent salad and soup bar, fast. This is your typical 1990s diner, without the smoking section. I got an egg sandwich and salad bar. It was with the money and I left full and happy. Employees were attentive and not over the top friendly, which I appreciate. They just do their job and are good at it.

My wife and I stopped at Mount Penn Family Restaurant on a Thursday morning to have a late breakfast with family during the holiday travel season. We had a party of six people in our group.

When we arrived, three of our group were already seated and had their coffee. Our server came to the table quickly to get our orders and there was a Carafe of coffee already on the table.

Our server was friendly in an East Coast manner. It was not Southern Hospitality as we are accustomed to, but she was efficient. Our orders arrived quickly and were accurate. I had a three-cheese Omelet with Potatoes and toast, and they were cooked well and very well.

They have a full menu with a large variety and selection. I found many items on the menu I would like to try out if we are back in the area again.

Had a nice lunch at this lovely little diner. The staff was friendly, has a nice laid back ambience. I ordered the greek gyro and it was quite good they have a soup and salad bar that was small but good, especially liked the stuffed grape leaves. The soups were pretty basic but good.

Wanted to politely let our server know there was CLEARLY a bug in my french toast. After graciously taking it off the bill, we went to leave and the manager came over and tried to embarrass me in front of the entire restaurant. She yelled at me trying to say it was vanilla extract that hardened in the cooking process. You can see clear as day it has legs and antennas. It’s a bug. Will never be returning especially after the conversation with the manager.

I havent even been served my food and I want to leave. The cook has his pants 50% off his body….he probably pulls these up with his bare hands all day at work, I also couldn’t find a single clean spoon at the salad bar for my soup. I sure hope I don’t get sick here….update here was my Texas burger

Good local diner. Been here many times and the food is always good. Standard diner fare. Reasonable prices, large menu and nice little salad bar. Service is consistently friendly. Coffee is always full!
