Mount Granita Italian Ice is a hidden gem! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of care into what they do—using only the best and most minimal ingredients to create some of the most refreshing Italian ice I’ve ever had. My absolute favorite flavor was the Lychee (so light and floral), followed closely by the Raspberry, which had the perfect tangy kick.
The space is bright, clean, and super inviting. I love that you have the option to order from the walk-up window outside or head inside for a full look at the offerings. One of the best surprises? You can grab a pint of your favorite flavor straight from the in-store coolers to take home—genius!
If I had one tiny wish, it’s that the portions were just a little bigger for the price. But honestly, the quality more than makes up for it. Can’t wait to come back again!

What a cute little place! It was our first time here and we liked the walk up window too! The store is small, cute, welcoming, and bright. Parking around the area is a little tight and limited if you come on busy days.
We got a flight with 4 flavors and they’re petty big scoops, it was worth the price. I really liked the cherry and the lemon flavor we got! All of it was refreshing and made very well. The ice is not chunky or hard, it’s just right.
I recommend this place for a sweet treat, a group outing, for a hot summer day, or something fun and delicious.

Mount Granita Italian Ice is on a whole different level.
This isn’t your typical sugary Italian ice. They’re processing whole fruit right in the back of the shop — no artificial flavors, barely any added sugar, and somehow it still tastes unbelievably sweet and refreshing. It’s basically fruit magic.
I don’t know how to explain how something can taste this good with so few calories. On a hot day, the Mojito flavor hits like nothing else, but honestly, every flavor is a win.
Here’s what really sold me: I take pints home and when that late-night craving hits — the one where you’d normally reach for a handful of chips and blow through 300 calories before the commercial break — I reach for Mount Granita. I can sit through an entire movie, slowly scraping the top of a pint, satisfying that “I need to eat something” brain loop, and I’ve only had like 30 calories. No crash, no guilt — just flavor and refreshment that actually supports my fitness goals.
It’s not just a treat — it’s a solution. Healthy, delicious, and totally addictive in the best way.

Absolutely shocked at how good this place was!! We went for a free Yelp Elite event and I had such low expectations because I was never a fan of Italian ices growing up because it was always very hard flavored ice and it was always a pain to chip away just to get anything out of the cup… this was far from that! The Italian ice was so soft and fluffy and the flavors were so good!
The service was very friendly and she answered all our questions and even explained how they soften their Italian ice every morning with a emersion blender. Their ingredients are simple and clean which is a huge plus in this world filled with chemicals. The place is so nice and clean and I love the mix of old brick with modern bright accents. As a brand they are doing everything right and you can tell since the line can go out the door at times.
We were so glad to have tried this place and we even ventured around the cute Italian town which we’ve never been before. So many great experiences came from this place and I’m so grateful to have partaken in this awesome establishment. We will definitely be back!

I’m an Italian ice connoisseur!!!! My family is from Staten Island New York, where some of the BEST Italian ice is located. This is NOT your typical Italian ice…it’s honestly better! Way more refreshing and fresh fruit makes the flavors as opposed to syrup! If you’re looking for artificial strawberry, mango, etc! You will not find it here. It tastes like the literal fruit just frozen! I got the flight with lemon, strawberry, and mango. Mango is my favorite! Normally I dont like mango because it’s artificial! This was like eating a frozen blended mango. $12 for a flight with four massive scoops-worth it in every book!

We are so happy we found this place! It’s like it was custom made for us. We have one child with severe food allergies including egg, wheat, and peanut. We have one mommy who’s convinced she’s become lactose intolerant. Very few places I can let the kids loose and let them choose anything on the menu but I can here. I have also always not been a huge fan of Italian ice but my oldest summed it up perfectly when he pronounced “this stuff is as good as ice cream!” I agree. Awesome staff, very nice setting and vibe, plus great desserts. I highly recommend it.

So creamy, such perfect combinations of flavors, and ordering right on the sidewalk in front of the bubble machine was such a fun touch (you can also order inside in case of bad weather). There is plenty of seating inside and outside. My wife got the bomb-pop combo – which was slammin’ – and I combined mixed berry with mint mojito.
Prices are probably what they should be for ice, fresh fruit, and cane sugar (that’s all the ingredients!!), and my modest cup took me way longer to eat than I anticipated, which was another awesome thing. I have been thinking about it all day…I live 40 minutes away, but dangit, I will be back.
Parking: we found a spot on a side street maybe one minute away. You needed a residential permit M-F before 8:00pm, but on the weekend it was fine.

Such friendly service. They ask if you’ve been here before, if you haven’t, they explain that they use fresh ingredients, nothing artificial etc. There are about a dozen flavors to choose from, but the traditional lemon was the favorite among our group. You can bring home a pint as well! They have indoor and outdoor seating and a take out window facing the street. It’s a busy place and seemed popular with the neighborhood locals. A great treat on a warm summer evening!

First of all, the Italian Ice is simply 10 out of 10. I highly recommend the lemon…but the other flavors are outstanding. The place is super clean and trendy. The staff were very friendly. This place is worth the drive and worth the money.

I had not had Italian ice in years and didn’t particularly think I liked it, so I did not have high expectations. Turns out this is a different version of Italian ice- granita, originated in Sicily, and it was like nothing I’ve tasted before. The texture was so soft. The flavors were light and refreshing. Nothing tasted artificial. My favorite was orange creamsicle and my husband’s was lemon. We also tried mango, strawberry, watermelon, mint mojito, grapefruit and coconut (several flights over several days- it was that good!)
The staff was friendly and helpful. The store is super cute, great ambience. Will definitely be back and have already told everyone about it!
