Had an amazing lunch at Mount Fuji Connaught Place Delhi. I had chicken tan tan Ramen , creamy texture perfect spicy it reminds me of my best ramen I had in Japan . I was so thrilled after my first bite that it flows me back to my Japan vacation.
Rest we ordered california sushi and rainbow sushi and chicken yakitori. They were also upto the mark. Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. And to mention the cocktails were also amazing and so do the fresh lime And in the last matcha icecream. It is a must try.
Overall if you are fan of Japanese food definitely give this place a try . I am pretty sure you will go again .
.
To be honest I did not like the taste of anything there and might not go there again but 2 of my friends actually loved it so, read it further for more details.
.
We were 6 friends and thought to eat there just before a Christmas day, so the place was almost full but we got the sitting upstairs without any wait.
.
FYI. they have 2 sitting options, Traditional Japanese sitting style and other one the common Indian fine dining, so we got the common chair table sitting.
.
So we ordered Miso Ramen, Mango avocado Sushi, cream cheeze and chilli oil and exotic veg dimsums.
.
What I really liked was the mango avocado sushi , it had a nice texture of mango and avocado and the base, which You must try.
.
Other than this I barely liked the taste of dimsums and Ramen, the noodles and layer of dimsums were actually nice but the overall taste was not something I expected, it’s my personal opinion which Others can happily disagree to.
.
What my friends loved was Miso Ramen, and Sushi mango avocado (they even bought another plate for take away), so it’s gonna be the personal preference of the taste.
.
Ambience was calm, and the staff was nice too but the service was way slow.
The price also was on the expensive side.
.
Food – 4/5
Service – 3/5
Ambience – 5/5
Price – 3/5
.
While Billing they also give complimentary fortune cookies and brownies, hehe.
.
I still recommend going there and try it for yourself even though I did not like the taste.
Attached pictures for reference.
Designed for a fine dining experience, Mount Fuji has the best Japanese food in the city and they do not shy out on making their cocktails a 10/10. Undoubtedly one of the best Thai Green Curries I’ve had. Would highly recommend a visit to experience not just authentic Japanese but also Pan Asian food.
Plus points for the wonderful and fast service. Absolutely won the marketing and recall game with the fortune cookies which we loved 🙂
Items Tried: Prawn Dynamite Sushi, Chicken Katsu Bao, Thai Green Curry, Coral Reef Cocktail.
The sushi that I ordered this time was just about okayish and not as good as I remember having on my last visit here. The Korean fried chicken starter was good, crispy and saucy as I like it.
The cantonese veg fried rice was just okay with few veggies and more rice.
The drinks are good. Service is prompt and efficient. However for the portion and quality, some dishes might be found overpriced here.
Nonetheless, a good option for pan asian cuisine in the heart of Delhi.
The food can still have scope to be better is what I feel. The mocktails are nice though.
We tried their Veg Pad Thai Noodles , and it was a bit toooo saucy unlike how it should be . The Sushis were quite a bit experimented, you can definitely try them out.
Chicken Gyoza was good .
Overall a good place and ya at the end you got to see what a fortune cookie has to say about you
If you are a vegetarian then must try Japanese pizza – mushroom truffles and pad thai noodles. They also give fortune cookies with bill. That was super cute
Staff is well polite, services are good
Portion size is good, 1000 rs approx for 2 dishes. You can also use dineout for better prices.
Cozy and calm vibes.
Would love to go there again.
Here’s my honest and detailed review
Table was easily available when I reached they sort of have japanese type sitting although not entirely.
I tried various cuisines including dimsum basket which was served with a variety of sauces to eat with and were tasty.
Being a soup person I did try soup and it was average while the dessert which was matcha cake was tasty.
What disappointed me is they served me can of diet coke with MRP of rs40 for almost rs300 and I don’t understand how they can justify this.
Service was slow although the staff was helpful.
It was very expensive and overall given so many options in CP,this can be avoided.
Definitely worth visiting.
